I've watched hundreds of scratch repair videos and this is the best so far, I could use this in business. Some people don't have money to do full repaint and I can just charge them way less for this. BTW you got a new subscriber.

its actualy more expensive to do this, what he dint tell you this take days while painting only 1 day
@martinrussell8580Ай бұрын
And you can still see the scratches after all that work
@Mikaeel846 күн бұрын
@@carbonoxx he just showed something a normal person could do. A normal person couldn't paint their own car and make it look even decent. I could do this in 1 day no problem. I've had my car painted and it definitely didn't take a day. They have to sand the whole thing, paint it, and then clear coat it. That's if your local body shop isn't busy and can immediately start working on it the day you bring it to them. If that's the case then you probably don't want them doing it because a good body shop is never not busy.

For the lighting you have in your shop, of course you can see it the lights provide perfection. Outside in the sun, no one would see it unless they already knew it was there👍👍 incredible work, although I’m sure some people would say just sanding & repainting all affected panels is easier, correct color matching is not easier! I use this method all the time, occasionally ill use an airbrush depending on how deep the scratch is, I recently did a new black BMW M5 which was owned by a Police officer who had nazi symbols on the bonnet and all 4 doors and the boot and scratches like on this video and I repaired it with using an airbrush, this method your using here is good but you have to make sure their are no tiny bubbles in the paint or it won't fill the crack, otherwise excellent repair without respraying it.

This is a very good job. You had the good fortune to have a dark non-metallic paint on the car (no micro metallic filaments in the base paint). If the car were a lighter metallic color, like a metallic silver - this technique would unfortunately not work as good. Because the metallic paint needs to be "blended" into the existing paint. Otherwise the lines would be very noticeable - regardless of how much paint you use to fill the scratch or the sanding and buffing. But for your car paint type - this is very doable. Again - nice job.
@AmddetailingАй бұрын
Only dark colors can be done, I tried every possible way to do light colors and couldn't find a solution, the only thing that came close was when I used an airbrush.

This is old trick from car market sellers, I used to sell all types of used cars back in a day, we used this trick on daily basis, not a miracle though, even if it looks very good just after the repair in the longer perspective former damage starts to be more and more visible due to filler settling deeper and deeper to the scratches. For short term impression it is good method, but if you want it to look good after 6 months or longer period of time you will have to paint.
