For fun at the end of the day I did a little math. The Western bankers and yes that includes the EU traded a total of just over 400 million ounces of gold and 2.35 billion oz of silver today. But yeah I'm sure there is no price manipulation going on since we only mine 100 million oz of gold worldwide a year and roughly 820 million ounces of silver.

Why is the amount being traded so important? It's all paper going back and forth. Physical delivery would be more accurate to figure out how much goes out vs what goes in.

Sal, asked Summit Metals if they are willing to start accepting payment with personal paper check sent by US Mail. Most other large bullion retailers allow that. Also, I had Louie's Silver ask them already but I hope they will be able to "box" orders from customers and ship once the total amount of boxed orders reach the sale/use tax exempted amount for the shipping destination state, this avoiding paying sales tax.

Sooner or later they will have to resolve the paper to the physical market and loosen the manipulated suppression. While you can do that to an extent with gold because it's mostly held by banks as a store of value, silver is used in much greater quantities in manufacturing, and you can't manufacture the goods with paper.
