In Poland, well over 300 thousand people are being called up to the army and they are also scaring 18 year olds with articles in the media that they have to report for military qualifications - that is, to be given a category of suitability for service in the army. Poles do not want to fight in Ukraine and for Ukraine. The attitude towards Ukraine among Poles has already changed a lot. There are more weapons in Poland, but there is no ammunition in warehouses, which is constantly being exported to Ukraine. That is why reservists called up to the army for training practically do not train, because they have nothing to use! So they want to use Poles again for their dirty business. In Romania, people are already rebelling.

The difference with the new hazel missile is the amount of independant warheads released. The older weapon of the same type had a max of 12. The hazel used had 6 x 6 warhead. MIRVs have been around since the 70s so the tech has improved alot. The problem for america or on a whole, NATO, is that Russian missile tech is one area that Russia has pulled away from america significantly, some experts claim that america is 8 to 10 years behind not only Russia but China aswell. At the end of the day, its the weapons we dont see that are the problem. Zelensky is not recognised by many as legitimate leader now and the sooner they, ukraine, cede the territory to Russia and become neutral the better for all. Its just a fact that Russia are winning, the pride of those who constantly said russia would lose badly is whats keeping this crap going.
@joemyler295825 күн бұрын
I respect your comment. But America is not 10 years behind Russia in nuclear technology and weapons. God showed me a specialized nuclear weapons in a dream told me all about them. I never ever forget how these nukes looked. I though it was over with. Then in the comments section on video, another person was talking about this same nuke, and everything I was told about it a few days later. Yes I had an update on this nuclear missile 6 months ago. Enough said, their are spies of the enminies everywhere.
@CSIS-Spy25 күн бұрын
Zelensky was democratically voted. Putins is a dictator who will not step down, who eliminates his opposition. So Putin is the illegitimate leader. I agree Russia has superior nuclear weapons but NATO has enough nuclear weapons to do significant damage even if some are intercepted. Despite Russias warheads unable to be intercepted, Russia won’t be able to intercept all nato missiles as well Mutual destruction and no one wins. We cannot let autocratic dictators rule the world. No leader should have unlimited terms in government. There is a reason the USA has a limit of 8 years.

The use of Russia's new missile, such as the Oreshnik, can indeed be viewed as a form of deterrence, contrary to the speaker's assumptions. Here's a summary of why: 1. Demonstration of Capabilities Purpose: By testing and using advanced hypersonic missiles like the Oreshnik, Russia demonstrates its technological and military capabilities. This is a clear message to adversaries about the potential consequences of escalating tensions. Deterrence Effect: The missile’s speed, precision, and ability to evade defenses make it a credible threat, thereby discouraging opponents from considering offensive actions. 2. Escalation Management Controlled Response: The missile’s use targets specific objectives (e.g., underground facilities) without causing widespread destruction, avoiding the threshold of a nuclear exchange. Strategic Signal: This limited yet impactful use signals Russia’s resolve while avoiding the full-scale escalation associated with nuclear weapons. 3. Avoidance of Nuclear War Alternative to Nukes: The deployment of non-nuclear hypersonic weapons gives Russia a powerful tool to achieve military objectives without crossing the nuclear threshold, which would have catastrophic global consequences. Discouraging Western Escalation: By showing its ability to strike high-value targets with precision, Russia seeks to deter NATO from further involvement or escalation. 4. Misinterpretation of Intent Speaker’s Assumption: The speaker claims the missile emboldens NATO by signaling that Russia is unwilling to escalate to nuclear war. This overlooks the purpose of deterrence, which operates through credible threats rather than immediate escalation. Reality: The use of advanced hypersonic missiles can serve as a strong deterrent by demonstrating readiness and capability without resorting to nuclear weapons. 5. Historical Parallels Cold War Logic: Similar to the U.S. deployment of advanced conventional weapons during the Cold War, the use of the Oreshnik aligns with the principle of showing strength to prevent further conflict. Balancing Act: Deterrence works by maintaining a delicate balance between demonstrating power and avoiding unchecked escalation, which Russia appears to be navigating. 6. NATO’s Escalatory Risks Missteps by NATO: The speaker overlooks how NATO’s actions, such as increased troop deployments and discussions of integrating Ukraine, are equally provocative. These could push the conflict into uncharted and more dangerous territory. Russia’s Restraint: The measured use of missiles like the Oreshnik shows that Russia is seeking to impose costs on adversaries while avoiding direct confrontation with NATO. Conclusion The speaker's assumptions that the use of Russia’s missile “emboldens NATO” misunderstand the strategic nature of deterrence. Far from indicating weakness, the deployment of advanced hypersonic weapons showcases Russia’s capability and resolve, serving as a warning to adversaries about the risks of further escalation. By avoiding the nuclear threshold, Russia is effectively using the missile as a tool of modern deterrence, reinforcing its stance while managing the conflict's escalation ladder.

My reading was that Oreshnik was fired off in response to Zelinski making long range deep strikes with Storm Shadow and atacms into Russia overtly involving NATO personnel and weaponry. This was an escalation by Ukraine/NATO prompting a response from Russia. Further strikes have resulted in a massed drone strike by Russia on Ukrainian infrastructure, again in response to deep strikes made into Russia which were warned against. Russia proving that it is not going to sit back and do nothing. Gotta say that the tone of this video in my opinion, seems a bit different from some of the more recent "Day X" updates. Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty (NATO) is not mandatory for member states: Obligation Each member state is only required to take "such action as it deems necessary" in response to an attack on an ally. This could include using armed force, restoring security, or reporting the attack to the Security Council. Decision-making Each member state votes on whether to invoke Article 5 and decides how to respond. This prevents states from being drawn into war against their will.
