I absolutely loved this band back in the day. This album will forever be a masterpiece, however. As others have said it's a concept album based loosely on Annabelle Lee by Edgar Allan Poe, and when played in order it tells a great story.

It fills me with pride that a gentleman like you like Alesana, in fact in one of the interview that was made to Shawn Milke of Alesana, said that his concerts are attended by people of all ages, understand this band is not so simple, but the trilogia of Annabel and the Artist is an Obra of Art by Completo, to my personal taste the album A Place Where The Sun Is Silent is the best of all the record company in Alesana.
