Attention!!! Mustii live, it can be dangerous for other competitors. I was invited by a friend to a festival in Belgium, I didn't know this singer so I wasn't expecting anything great. I was trapped, he has an incredible stage presence and he made me travel, shiver, ... What he gives off on stage is really very intense, I really had an unforgettable experience that day.

I also saw mustii for the first time at a festival in 2018. Didnt know him neither. I was blown away. What a performer!!! Since then I was hoping he would be selected to represent Belgium. I was so glad when he was selected.

Mustii didn't write this song for Eurovision. He wrote it to sort of enter a new era of his music, a more dark era. Because of this, we know that he isn't aiming for the Eurovision crown, which we need to accept (I also have him in my #1 spot).

The thing with Belgium is that they are known for having the best staging designers in the world. A lot of worldstars work with Belgians. Everyone who has been at Tomorrowland know how insane they are, but they are horribly expensive so Belgium hires a Dutch to do the staging. I read that they are now finally working with Belgians for the staging and that they have the choreographer who worked with Beyonce for the act, so I assume there will be dancers. In terms of song production Belgium is one of my favourites because they always deliver well produced song and City Lights was insane. I have really high hopes for them this year. We won in 2021 and Maneskin was in a similar position as Mustii right now. People only really noticed them during the rehearsals and I think same will happen with Mustii. I find this song perfection, love how it builds and adore his vocals. Good luck Belgium 🇮🇹❤️🇧🇪

Mustii's a seasoned artist so I won't even worry about live vocal delivery with him. Regarding staging, that's where I share your concern cuz this is RTBF's year (and most of your bad staging references here are from them lol). VRT has a better grasp on staging in recent years at least when you see Laura, Hooverphonic, Gustaph etc. So I'm hoping Mustii does what Loïc Nottet did and brings his own team and a plan so RTBF can just sign off and let him be creative.

Well, I hope so too. Regarding staging, not completely acurate in my opion (which is my opinion 🙂) They ruined Sennek's staging (VRT) ... But, you know what? It's BE, always the smaller brother/sister in Eurovision. How much of a beautiful, well made song we present to Eurovision, we will never win ... because we're only tiny Belgium and are always disregarded upon.

@@wimve4719 First off, don't think of yourself as small and unimportant, Belgium is the beating heart of Europe and the EU and people outside think very highly of you! I personally feel Belgium's second win is possible, whenever it may be, I just think a momentum needs to be maintained, but have hope! I don't know about RTBF but VRT is definitely good enough to deliver a future winner if they keep doing what they've done recently. Gustaph's song was labeled a confirmed nq when it won, and then finished top 10 at ESC with so much love and respect from everyone.

Mustii made this a Belgian song (Big Kudos to him) by writing/co-writing this regardless of our differences. Honestly, I don't even care for BE to win, I just listen to the music. As belgian, I am already proud of Mustii. He's primarily a comedian so I hope he'll put his touch on the staging, the way Hooverphonic did. Honestly, not hoping for victory, just wishing qualification and not too bad position in final. I love his albums and this is in continuity of his previous work. Am I the only one who doesnt get the construction of the song ? Dont get me wrong, I like the song especially the last bit/chorus. Its so good and catchy, but thats literaly the only time he sings the chorus ? How ? Like the first 2 Minutes of the song are great and have an amazing build up, but theres no chorus ? If so, I think thats a really bad decision. I mean the chorus is the main part of an song ! Or did I just missed the chorus of it? After listening to it for the first time , I was singing the last bit on repeat and when I went to listen to the song again I found myself getting a littel bit "lost" in the first two Minutes without a stand out chorus. But I still like the song its just a littel unusal. Maybe someone can help me to understand the construction of the song by finding the "missed chorus" for me. So I can love the song even more 😂❤

Don't get me wrong, from what I'm reading, you like the song, cheers for that. However, I cannot agree with the 'missing chorus' part. The chorus is right there but it changes. Part one is a ballad, part two is building up to part three without sounding like part one. To be honest, one of the comments by Alesia that it needed some more voice acrobatics ... I'm sorry, that's so 'American' (without saying that it's solely American ... a lot of other examples available). Sometimes/mostly, less is more. But hey, everyone is entitled to their opininion, just giving you mine 😀

I thought it only has one chorus at the end which is really unique but you had to get used to it. I really liked it from the first listen, it was just unsual but unusal in a good way, if you get what I mean. Thats reason why I asked out for help because I wasnt sure. So thanks for explaining again. As a german I'm always tranfsforming into another nationalty during may and this year it will be definitly Belgium ! Great job neightbours.
