What is the difference ALESIS CRIMSON II SPECIAL EDITION AND ALESIS CRIMSON
@Kandodndosjsoejwoe Жыл бұрын
late as fuck but the second one has an entire new design, the snare drum has its own stand, the module is updated, and it has an extra crash cymbal. Also the module screen is a different color.
@DeeDee-eb6fe3 жыл бұрын
Nice presentation, thank you! I heard, there is an issue with the MIDI number for the hi-hat (open/close). So: does the module have the option of a software update (via USB?) and do you think the issue will be solved in any way?
@nikoloniusTV4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the Video. What I can't find anywhere is: if i load my own samples into the module and play them on the for example snare, will the volume change when hitting harder or softer, or is it always the same volume....? Great drumset though. Looks fine
@bmrbca36584 жыл бұрын
@3:54 he says you can record and bring in your own sounds. And he demos the volume change on the toms so I'm guessing the snare would too
@nikoloniusTV4 жыл бұрын
@@bmrbca3658 thanks for answering. Got mine 1 week ago and it works fine with my own samples. Just for those who trigger vst DRUMS: Ez drummer works amazing because you can choose alesis as edrum set. Triggering native instruments or Steinberg groove agent works not really good, especially the hihat makes problems.

@@nikoloniusTV i ve seen posted many times about hi-hat problems with this Alesis??. you dont have any problems with hihat with ezdrummer2. how about with Superior drummer 3??

@@tonttaana8930 I'm sorry, but I don't own sup dr 3 so I can't answer this question. But I think sup 3 and ez drummer are from the same company, so I think its possible that it also works fine.

How come this kit doesn't have a crap load of cables connected to the module? Thought every drum needed to have it's own cable?
@Justakid442 жыл бұрын
Do you mean, why is there spare cables? I think it is because you can add an extra Tom and cymbal

how much can i rearrange the position of the drums and cymbals? for instance, on my acoustic set, my ride is way over to my right, level with my floor toms. i see this ride is way up where i have a splash on my acoustic set.
@noq18803 жыл бұрын
you can swap the ride and 2nd crash and get it to be almost level with the toms, yea.

Where are you grabbing it trying to choke them? You need to grab them on the very edge of the rim around the middle. The Crimson II SE cymbals are 100% chokable, tested on my own kit and one at the store.

@@Kandodndosjsoejwoe the build quality is questionable. If you play a few days a week and are not advanced it will be fine . If you are advanced it will fall apart.
@Kandodndosjsoejwoe Жыл бұрын
@@blueman1470 I’m advanced, I’ve had it for a month, haven’t noticed any issues. Sure, the module sounds aren’t amazing, which is why I use drum plugins. It sounds great with free drum software! but yeah, don’t get why people shit on Alesis. Infact, I deliberately chose this set out of the Simmons and Roland sets at the guitar center.
@Kandodndosjsoejwoe Жыл бұрын
@@blueman1470 also, the triggering is damn near perfect. Once you fix the triggers settings, it will pick up even the fastest buzz rolls. The kick drum triggers are questionable, I’ll give you that.
