Dang. You're the first person I've heard that actually makes these kits sound good. Most people I see demoing these kits feel like they aren't used to electronic kits. They have trouble getting things to trigger exactly on beat. This was the first sound demo that actually confirmed that it's possible to make this kit sound really good and usable.

From what I have seen these are the upgrades from the Alesis Nitro Max: - Module has 160 more sound samples - Rack uses better screws - Rack is bigger - Rack is more sturdy - 10" Chokeable Ride and Chokeable Crash Cymbal - 8" Dual Zone Tom Pads (from the 8" Single Zone Tom Pads) - Same snare but deeper - 8" Mesh Drum Tower supports double kick (from the 6" Drum Tower, I think)

The Alesis Nitro Pro is better than its predisesor, but I would not buy it. If you are in the market for an electronic drum kit you need a higher-end one that is closer to an accustic kit than just a toy of a drum set. The good high-end e-kits are expensive but you will learn druns better, have a way more fun time playing, the sounds will be better, the cymbals will be larger and 360° triggering, the hi-hat will be on a hi-hat stand(total game changer), and overall it will feel like you are playing a real drum set rather than a toy. Rather than upgrading a lower-end budget friendly e-kit or buying the new improved one and waste all that money you are better of just spending it on a good high-end e-kit that will not need to be upgraded and actualy teach you drumming. On the Alesis Nitro Pro or any lower-end budget friendly e-kits you can only learn so much. Once you think you are good on a lower-end budget friendly e-kit and you go to play an accustic drum set or a high-end e-kit you will find you are not as good as you thought as the playability, dynamics, sound depth, overall sound, and more accustic realistic size pads and cymbals. With the Nitro Pro e-kit you do get a quiet sound if you hit light abd as you gradually hit harder the sound gets louder. On a higher-end e-kit not only does it do that but like an acxustic drum set light hits will sound quieter and different than a harder louder hit rather than just the same sound being quiter or louder. This gives you better dynamics and nuance playing over the Nitro Pro or any lower-end e-kit. The only kits by Alesis I can recommend considering is the Strike Pro Se or the Strata Prime e-kits as they are a decent higher-end e-kit that is better at mimicking an accustic drum set than any other e-kit from Alesis. The Strike Pro Se and the Strata Prime e-kits have more cymbals like you normally would, The sounds are much better, the hi-hat is on a stand, the cymbals are 360° triggering, and the pad sizes are closer to actual accustic sizes. Videos make these lower-end low-budget e-kits seem better than they really are. My suggestion is to try out the Nitro Pro kit and a high-end e-kit and see, feel, and hear the difference.

@@Iamadrummer homie forgot that money doesnt grow on trees. Certain people don't have 1000+ bucks to spend on a kit like the strata prime. There is also thee discussion of beginners. They are beginners for a reason. Certain people just want to get a dip in and that's essentially it. Also the hobby discussion as well. So while you make some great points, you are also leaving out a the demographic of people who are interested in just learning or playing drums as a hobby.

@@MayorDesu I agree with this statement. Would I love to buy the Strata Prime-um, yes. Do I have $3,500 extra just sitting around for such a purpose. Nope. I ordered the Pro to replace my Max. The stronger and higher rack itsels is worth it to me. I'll have to save up for quite a while to be able to afford the strata. So that's a goal of mine. One day.

@@epiphanyvideomarketing7541 the strata is actually really nice. I got to try it at guitar center and its definately worth the saving up. Best of luck on that. Right now I'm enjoying the pro 😁

Hey Nick! Thnx for the critical and honest Review again... Really appreciate watching your Videos... One Question: If you've to choose between the Nitro Pro and the Titan 50 BEX.... Witch one would you choose 🤔 Or in other words.... What about an "Comparison" Video of them both?? Greetz from 🇦🇹 and keep 🥁🥁
@NickCesarzDrumsАй бұрын
Thanks so much! It’s a tough one, you get more drums on the B-EX and I’d say the sounds are better. Also cheaper than the Pro. But it did feel pretty compact compared to the Nitro Pro. Ultimately depends how you will use it, with drum VSTs or not. Nitro Pro + EZ Drummer 3 is a killer combo
@epiphanyvideomarketing7541Ай бұрын
@@NickCesarzDrums - Also, if you have a laptop and have BFD, you can connect it to the Alesis and get more realistic sounding drums. So I'd personally say the Pro is a better buy given that one of the most important features for e-drums is the sturdiness, size, and height of the kit.
@jimbo3380Ай бұрын
I just ordered it through guitar center so should have it next week. I have a smaller Alesis already but the smaller snare and the fact that it likes to work its way out and falls off irritates me. This kit has a bigger snare plus I bought the expansion and a snare stand to eliminate the snare bar on this. Overall I can’t wait to get this.

Good morning, and sorry for my english am french, I'm about to buy my first electronic drum kit. I'm hesitating between 3 models : - Alesis Nitro pro - Roland TD-07DMK V-Drum Set - Millenium Millenium MPS-850 E-Drum Set. Can you advise me on one of the 3? knowing that the visual doesn't matter to me, I prefer the quality of the sound, the solidity, the touch etc... in short I want to play the drums not decorate my office XD Good evening
@xgreco5 күн бұрын
Millennium and Alesis are much cheaper. Alesis ekits have good drum sounds, but Rolands trigger really good, are reliable and sturdy, last a lifetime and that's crucial.

I keep asking why they keep sending a kick pedal with the felt pad they do not want anyone using?
@NickCesarzDrumsАй бұрын
Actually true
@JayKayEllEmmАй бұрын
I just put a kick drum patch on and that solved my issue. I can play quieter and it actually triggers a little better now than it used to.
@IamadrummerАй бұрын
Most e-kits do not come with a pedal. The pedal that comes with some e-kits are cheap and not very good. If using a felt beater you need a bass patch. The higher-end better e-kits usaly come with a couple bass patches even though they do not come with a pedal. If the Nitro Pro e-kit came with a word or rubber beater the kit would cost more.

That's just a Nitro max, with a better frame
@IamadrummerАй бұрын
Basically, but there are other improvements. The Nitro Pro or any lower-end budget friendly e-kits from Alesis or just about any e-kit company I would not suggest buying especially if you want to become a good drummer.
@epiphanyvideomarketing7541Ай бұрын
Negative. Better frame yes. But the dual-zone pads are also a game changer. And the much better bass drum. Also, 160 more sounds. I am personally selling my Max and upgrading to this. The frame alone is worth it. The max's frame is terrible and wobbly and feels like a child's set. But that's just my two cents.
