The one I'm using is a very old Visulite Ride. Pintech now makes these but they're a bit different than the one I have. I found my used in Reverb reverb.grsm.io/demonicsweaters

I have the nitro Max, and the number 26 on kick is completely different. Sounds more electronic. I think these settings are much different on the max, unless im doing something wrong?

The Nitro Max is not the Nitro Mesh, it's a completely different kit.

@demonic sweaters I used a split cable to connect the laptop and mp3/ipod, but sometimes it sounds good and sometimes its just a mess. The module doesnt have a mp3 volume control like others. There is a behringer HA400 headphone amplifier but i dont know if it works.

I don't have my Nitro anymore, but Korn's drum sound is quite similar to Slipknot, so I think this would work just as well :)

Wow another excellent video on the Nitro mesh! My 1st question is can you use a dual zone cymbal on the kit? So if I buy a dual zone E-cymbal will it work? And when I tried to adjust the EQ on the whole kit it didn't seem like there was a separate highs, mid and lows. Anyway thanks again for the great tutorial!

no, the nitro module can only use single zone cymbals. The tom inputs are dual zone though. The EQ should work, but it's applied to every drum.

How do you convert your acoustic to electronic drums. I have a Tama hyperdrive and just got an alesis nitro mesh. Totally different when playing from acoustic yo edrums! I’d like to use my Tama but with vesatility of the edrums!

I'm not sure, I've heard a few others say this, but I've never had that problem. Maybe something isn't hooked up right, or the cable is loose?

@@demonicsweaters thanks for replying, after fiddling around I realized the threshold for some toms/ bass drums on some kits have their threshold set really high. I lowered the threshold on my kick and it worked. I turned threshold down to 0 on all drum pads and seems to get me the loudest response. thanks for the reply great video
