I love the way McGregor, works, interacts with the ballet dancers, as he has a unique interaction, feel, and a very different eye for creating,understanding each dancer's individual body, and can get into their mind, and amazingly can bring out the best out of their minds and bodies, by quietly challenging, and channeling them all to their peak energy, and emotional flow into a seamless balletic union. No he's not a Ashton, Macmillan, (whom I've watched, along with Cranko), he is his own beautiful, individual man, who brings The Royal Ballet, into the 21st century. Bravo to Wayne McGregor, "IT" works! (to me), and encore.

Watching the actual performance of the Waves on stage was sublime, and it captured the suicide motif gently but persuasively. Fantastic artists and so thrilled that Alessandra will be returning for the 2017 revival, and Mara Galeazzi. Watching them being rehearsed is a privilege, but you need to be a super category Friend to have any chance of getting to an Insight like this.
