It's fascinating to see his "vocabulary". Different choreographers have varying accents and percussive sounds. It's cool to see this relationship of the choreographer and a dancer who know his language.

I just received my copy of the recently released full length version of Woolf Works. I so admire this ballet. Kudos to Wayne McGregor!! I so enjoyed the magnificent performance by the mesmerizing Allessandra Feri, as well as outstanding work by Osipova, McRae, Underwood and Lamb. But my eyes, as ever, were drawn to Ed in every scene he danced in. His work in this ballet is so deeply moving and yet thrilling.

I always enjoy these videos so much. Hope we'll get to see Ferri rehearse too. ;) Why can't we get a cinema screening of this ballet? Full-length Wheeldons get screenings and next season we'll get Scarlett's Frankenstein in the cinema too.
