It's normal at that age to get breakouts and stuff. Puberty does the most of us dirty but don't worry with good skincare in time it will get better. I know people who had it bad and then in their late teens/ early 20's they were wayy better. Also please don't listen to your family goooood. It's literally normal and genetic too so they should never put you down for literally growing up 😭. Or just for anything why would they put you down like that?

tips that i found! not everyone benefits from washing with cold water! it actually dried me out more and using warm water actually cleared me up! do what works for you!!! try different things! DONT BE AFRAID TO GO TO THE DOCTOR PLS!! i cleared in a WEEk after she prescribed me with something that she thought would fit into my routine! if you want to wear makeup over your acne WEAR A PRIMER AND SUNSCREEN! sometimes it IS better to pop it, if it hasn’t gone away for more than 4 days, or has a white head. try to pop it, or better yet use a pimple patch. don’t pop anything that hurts or is new. CLEAN EVERYTHING!!!! brushes, your hands, your glasses, face jewelry, makeup brushes, hair nets, phone. WASH EVERYTHING.

I had really bad acne as a teen because of puberty, and my period always starts breakouts. my family still puts more pressure on me having good skin but honestly it’s not your fault. You’re beautiful and your acne doesn’t define your beauty. They won’t be there forever either but try not to worry too much. Sometimes it’s also just genetics, the same family that makes you feel bad forgets they dealt with the same exact thing when they were your age.

Here are her tips and tricks : 1. Don't dry out your skin, keep it moisturized. ( If you think drying out your face gonna dry out your pimples then you're wrong ) 2. Rub banana peel on your face. ( It is antiseptic & has antioxidants ) 3. Rice water on face (anti-aging) 4. Cold water to wash your face. (hot water strips away the natural oils ) 5. Don't dip your finger in your skincare container. (lower the pH of the product) 6. Don't let haircare products near your face. (wipe off the excess) 7. Steaming your face. ( wash your face right away after that then apply skincare products for it to penetrate better ) 8. A lemon a day keep the dermatologist away. (drink lemon water) 9. Diy Exfoliant face mask : yogurt, aloe, coconut oil, almonds ( blend it in a blender then apply the mask) 10. Dont ice your face directly. (wrap it in a cloth) 11. Pat dry your face instead of rubbing. 12. Stay away from certain ingredients : like alcohol, oxybenzone, talc, phthalate, fragrance, heavy metals like lead & zinc, and use oil free non -comodogenic products that doesn't clog your pore. 13. No stress ( working out regularly, yoga and all) 14. Doing less is doing more. (don't touch your face or pop pimples) 15. Less is more when it comes to skincare product. ( avoid strong chemical peels that cause chemical burns) 16. Don't over wash your face. ( It gonna strip away your natural oils ) 17. wash your pillows and make up brush, wipe your phone screen. ( clean it all regularly)

Great tips. Let me contribute a few of my own from my advanced age, hehe. I have tried almost everything to look younger and have that "perfect" skin: face exercises, vitamin C serum, Fraxel, collagen supplements and even Retin A for about 7 years straight. However, nothing made any real difference (But it did delay the process of aging, that's for sure). compared to the high-quality derma pen I purchased for under 100 bucks. Within 3 months of use, my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY and the texture looked better compared to when I was in my 30s. I don't look like I'm in my 20s again, but definitely not 59 either. My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less prominent to nonexist. People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin.

The moisture thing was so true. I didn’t realize how important it was until summer time. I thought salicylic acid was the thing people needed but it wasn’t. The corners of my nose hurt so bad and I broke out more. So I decided to buy things based on my skin type rather than the general well known ingredient everyone is told to use. I got a hydrating cleanser for sensitive skin and this huge thing of lotion that has SPF in it as well. It was $14 which is AMAZING for the amount it gives you. It’s called Eucerin if anyone is interested. I love how this channel encourages making skincare affordable and simple!

As someone who's suffered from acne over the years I tend to not trust influencers as they usually don't provide reliable information, however you def did your research girl and I learned from this video. You covered so much that most influencers don't even think to talk about and it's obvious you really wanna help us ❤
@tiamarrow6366
@tiamarrow6366 Жыл бұрын
I personally wouldn’t put that on influencers though….a lot of them absorb information from different types of skincare specialists and dermatologists who obviously will have their differences in opinions over certain products and etc, thus…..along with probably reading whatever Google has to say….these influencers might unintentionally be hearing the wrong information, be completely unaware of which info is true or false, and they tell their followers. A majority of them, they’re not trying to just sell a product regardless of the reason….they’re just not being properly informed by the right people. So it’s not really their fault especially if some of them are trying to be more knowledgeable on skincare.
@linas2969
@linas2969 Жыл бұрын
@@tiamarrow6366 I wasn't putting anything on influencers as it's not their job to educate me. With all due respect, there really isn't anything to debate about here and I'm confused as to why you explained to me all of the possible reasons as to why an influencer might spread misinformation. Of course there are a lot of different reasons why, I never indicated that I didn't understand this. I simply said that, personally, I tend to not rely on influencers that don't specialize in dermatology. Regardless of why some of them may be misinformed, I usually don't rely on influencers as a lot of the time they will provide misleading or potentially harmful skincare advice without doing thorough research beforehand. You've probably been on the internet long enough to know that many influencers give such advice. And again, that's not to "put" anything on them as they are not responsible for us, it was simply a general statement to explain my personal experience when doing research lol. Moreover, I was just trying to give the girl a compliment because in my opinion, the video is great and although it's condensed, the information is accurate and on par with the advice given by MOST derms. And yes, you are right that dermatologists will have their differing opinions, that's very true. 🙂

Romans 8:38-39. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. (Revelation 3:15-18) you cannot live for this world and not try to stop sinning (being cold) and only believing in God(hot) without turning from sin or sinning and saying God will forgive you after or not read the Bible, pray, worship/obeying God. Which is being a lukewarm. If we are neither cold or hot, God will spit us out his mouth. Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 Proverbs 11:2 “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. ” Proverbs 16:5 “The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. Proverbs 16:18 “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before before a fall. Genesis 1:26-27 - “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Jesus is coming back soon!! Repent and believe!! Jesus loves you and wants a relationship with you 🫶🏽 Plis read revelation 3:15-18 on google if you don’t have a Bible. (Exodus 20:7) You shall not invoke the name of the LORD, your God, in vain. Please don’t use Gods name in vain, it’s dangerous Has a nation ever changed its gods? (Yet they are not gods at all.) But my people have exchanged their glorious God for worthless idols. Jeremiah 2:11) having idols of any kind isn’t good 🙅‍♀️ Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD. (Jeremiah 16:20) HAVING IDOLS IS A SIN JEREMIAH 16:20 , JEREMIAH 2:11 Revelation 3:15-18 explains that we can’t be cold and hot at the same time which is being a lukewarm. In other words, if we are hot, which is really repenting and turning from sin) if we are cold we just completely don’t really follow God. If we mix those together it makes a lukewarm which they will be spat out Gods mouth and won’t inherit the kingdom of heaven. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.John 3:16. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13 Romans 8:38-39 .. John 3:16 .. Revelation 3:15-18 Corinthians 6:9.. John 15:13 Psalms 23:4 Psalms 23:4 || Yea, though I walk through The Valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; rod and thy staff they comfort me. Deuteronomy 31:8. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 JESUS IS COMING BACK SOON!!REPENT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!🫶🏽🫶🏽 ✝️❣️..😊

I looked at your beauty in amazement and laughed because I also have an obsession with cleaning the phone I used to sleep on a satin pillowcase for the sake of my hair, and now I have discovered that it is better for the skin. I like to put yogurt on my face. I used to use silicone ice, but I left it.

I was already following all these tips and habits intuitively.When I didn’t even have acne,I used to have warm lemon water every single day without fail but I took it for granted bec I didn’t have acne and had rlly good skin and healthy body.Also the cold compress.I used to get one pimple a month(good ol’ days)and i’d rub an ice cube over it and i’d disappear in max 2 days.I don’t know why I stopped the cold compress and lemon water imma start it again and you should too!!! I also realised that I actually stopped all the good habits and started focusing sm on skincare products more than healthy habits.not recommended.I suffered and I don’t want you to! Yea look what u apply but ALSO take care your skin and body APART from the tons of products you’re using. Also,I know you hate using spf but not using it right during the start of my acne journey made me have acne spots on my face.I wish i had started using sunscreen months before so I didn’t have two things to take care of now.One’s breakouts and acne and the other’s acne spots.

If you’re a baddie AND a singer and you wanna steam your face, make sure to take a couple of deep breaths through your mouth while you’re doing it. My vocal coach taught me this and it helps instantly moisture and hydrate your vocal cords. This is especially important to do if you have to sing soon after waking up and haven’t had any water since you fell asleep. Yes, drinking water helps keep your vocal chords stay hydrated but they will get dehydrated throughout the night they will take hours to be hydrated again after your first sip of water in the morning. So instead of drinking a whole glass of water in one go, take a few sips every no more than half an hour. Drink water, stay hydrated and steam your face! I’m no expert, this is just what I’ve been taught!

girl, i had to come back to this video like a week after watching this video because I started steaming my face and did NOT expect how big of a difference it makes !! it literally costs nothing and my skin is sooo much smoother ! i had little bumps all over my face that I haven't been able to get rid of but I started steaming my face before washing it and literally didn't even have to exfoliate, they gradually just went away. (I only steam my face and then use a sacylic acid cleanser and they actually went away...) so I'm back to say THANK YOU 💕

I've had the worst acne ive had in forever and my mom made me a milk honey and tumeric mask. Ive used it for 3 days and also put vitamin e oil (from the gel capsule supplements) on my face and those stubborn red spots and the painful acne is starting to dry up. Some of them were huge too. If nothing has been working for you try that. And lemon water like she mentioned because of the vitamin c. You could also take vit c supplements. Vitamin d is also important for skin (sunlight or supplements) Make sure you're hydrated well Drinking spearmint and hibiscus tea (organic is best) will help to dry them up too. Hibiscus is also filled with vitamin c so you could just drink this instead of lemon water Steaming your face has also helped to clear some acne. Some sources say not to steam everyday, but for me it wasnt that big of an issue. I imagine it could cause fungal acne if done too often though. Eating fruit. I've alwags noticed it helps with reducing my pimples. And make sure your pillowcase is cleannnn! Having a silk or satin pillowcase can help a lot (also very good for your hair. Reduces friction so less breakage)

Hi I'm an aesthetician and here some things I have to say about some of your tips, there's no such thing as openings or closing pores it's a myth, so steaming your face doesn't open it, it just helps you to extract acne, and steaming doesn't take out impurities so you don't have to wash it before applying products , it's actually recommended to apply it right after you steam your face. Coconut oil is horrible for our face since it's highly comedigenic ( meaning it causes breakouts)

Extra tips! 1. Don't touch your face. Before touching your face wash your hands for 20 seconds. 2. Rub ice cubes on your face 2-3x a week to avoid dehydration/irritation (Not for a lot of people) 3. Try exercising, I know a whole lot of level but it improves skin elasticity and increased oxygen flow helps to flush out toxins and impurities that can clog pores and can lead to breakouts. 4. Pay attention to makeup and skincare ingredients(Alessya already told us) 5. AVOID popping pimples😭

Tips for my dry skin girlies: 1. organic oils 2. moisturize 3. use face peels weekly 4. REMOVE YOUR MAKEUP Things not to do: 1. use under eye gel pads- will give you rashes and rarely burns 2. dont wash your face every day, wash it every other,- will dry your skin out 3. for makeup remover use mineral water instead of toners and removers

I started having major breakouts from the last 2 years and it just kept getting worse every day, I tried a lot of different products such as vit c, alpha arbutin, niacinamide, homemade masks, charcoal masks and sooo much more which just caused much more harm to my skin, I know everybody’s skin is different but I would suggest all the teens out there (from personal exp) to just stick to 1,2 products rather than relying on multiple products which are just waste of money

I think the cold water thing is so important. I never spend money on face products except a very basic $2 lotion from Trader Joe's. I used to have acne and breakouts but that was ONLY BECAUSE OF 3 THINGS: 1) using hot/warm water on my face which enlarged my pores and caused dryness and 2) eating junk and processed food/sugar which obviously caused breakouts, and 3) not wiping off sweat on my face quickly after exercise. I just use cold water now, keep sweat off my face (again, washing with cold water), and using the simple lotion after showers. Small pores, no acne, smooth skin.
