Would your paragraph structure be different for a different 10 or 12 marker prompt? For example you can be asked to 'assess the importance', 'assess the likely value', 'assess the consequences' and 'assess the likely reasons'. All these seem to prompt a different paragraph structure so I question the generalisability of the exam structure you show.

They can all be balanced, so the structure is the same in terms of the number of paragraphs. Importance: Is important, However isn't important Impact: Positive impact, However negative impact Consequences: Positive consequence, However negative consequence

What about the AS level business in Edexcel?

As level is a part of A level as a whole...so whatever and however will the method be used/taught in A level will be exactly the same as As level...only the chapters in each paper are different😁

Yep, as Yellow Tree suggests, an 8 marker on AS is the same structure as on the A2 papers! All of these are relevant, except the 12 markers, which don't appear on AS papers
