Thanks for the videos/podcasts. These have helped so much! Do you have any information on what might be coming up in the October Exams? Sorry, I'm an external candidate so I don't have a teacher I can ask, so any info would be very much appreciated!

No clue what is coming up, but hopefully these videos, the Paper 1 and 2 Preparation videos and the Paper 3 Pre-release videos we have help in some way! Check them out if you haven't already.

hi, just watched all 5 of these Great exam technique videos... would it be possible if you could go through past papers as it would be really helpful. Thankyou!

Glad you liked them. What do you mean go through? Do you mean analyse every question? To be honest I'm not super keen to do that, if that's what you mean, as it may detract from people's ability to go back and do them as practice and kind of undermines any teacher who wants to set them as mocks etc. One thing we are doing through is in our next podcast providing some new exam questions to do. It should be posted this week so keep an eye out for that.

HI Do you have an electronic copy of the examiner level of response with converted descriptors for the 20, 12/10 and 8 mark questions, they look great and I would like to use them with learners. Thanks

Feeling demotivated as doing the October exam and need an A but still can’t finish the exam in time 😩
@BusinessAsUsual4 жыл бұрын
You've got to practice the timing for each question! Aim for a mark a minute and 1 hour per section. Are you writing definitions? If so, stop! If your points are good, you won't get any extra credit from them!

@@BusinessAsUsual If you're running out of time on say an 10,12 or 20 marker, would you say its better to make sure you have a strong however and risk having no time for a judgement or would you be better of having a weaker however with a decent conclusion?
@BusinessAsUsual4 жыл бұрын
@@tkay6371 The judgement is essential - especially on a 20 marker. It's where you make your recommendation so if you don't do a conclusion, you don't technically answer the question do you? I'd rather you had the weaker however and the conclusion. But obviously I'd much rather you had the time for both!
