This was one of the best choreographed numbers of the season. Incorporating the Beyonce moves in this paso and making them look as if they belong there... wow. Neil created a female paso and made Alex the star. Technically not flawless, but nevertheless my favourite of the night. They are really making the most out of Alex's abilities. The others are too... perfect in a way (I know that sounds strange)...

Neil choreographs so well cos Alex isn’t a naturally good dancer but he choreographs to her strength and makes her stiffness for example feel choreographed

Really love Alex. She came from never dancing a step in her life to doing this. I mean this is what strictly is really about, taking someone who knows nothing about dance and watching them excel in it, that's not something you can really say about the other celebs, which is why Alex has my backing for the win.

Sandra Poku when dancing Alex triped on the step I didn’t notice till she said and Neil didn’t notice either and when he found out from the judges he took responsibility and said it was his fault like OMG they would be the cutest couple ever

she is genuinely so inspiring and empowering she’s such a powerful women but she’s so so modest at the same time she’s so strong and after everything deserves so much recognition i’m so so glad she did this she basically helped in a big way to build the path to the women’s game. her and neil are just the best partnership and so amazing together with so much chemistry. he deserves love too because without male support none of the improvements in women’s lives would be possible. truly incredible

I was so scared the judges wouldn't like this. This is amazing! It's like Joe and Dianne's Musical Salsa, where it was less the celeb and the pro, but the celeb interacting with the extras! And this is amazing! A Paso, which I eat right up, but it was strong and powerful! Such girl power! It was absolutely perfect, it represented Alex and everything she stands for! And once again, it shows of her individually and how far she has come! I don't think that's really been emphasised in any other Strictly contestant. Loved the way they did the song too. I was kinda scared because I thought it felt more Salsa like. Love you, Alex!

Utterly fabulous. I can't believe this is Alex- the same shy woman of a few weeks ago. Such brilliant choreography, delivered with camp panache and aggressive attack as per a traditional Paso. The condition and character were there from beginning to end. The shaping was good, the spins were fluid and the coverage of the floor was great. 9.

In hindsight I think this was my favourite routine of the night. Alex totally owned that dancefloor and showed how much she's grown in confidence during all the solo sections. The stuff in hold with Neil was energetic and clean. Probably the best use of backing dancers that I've seen at Blackpool too. Overall, not a perfect performance, but very very good.

Alex has dominated the dancefloor! She was totally in unison with the female professional dancers and her musicality was flawless. It was, without any doubt, her most confident performance. Alex's had so much passion and determination in her eyes... it was really incredible! Unfortunately, for me, it was missing the tilted hips and that "banana" shape in the body, which are very important in the Paso Doble and I also found her arms to be a little bit stiff. In terms of performance that was perfect, she gave her all out there, she danced with the heart of a lioness, and performance wise she is improving each and every week, but technically it could have been better and I want her to uplift the game in terms of technicality and body action. A 7.

For me, I would have like a climaxed ending but I know they cannot do that much due to Neil's injury. Anywho, the shapes could have been a little sharper. Loved her synchronization with the other background dancers. This was pretty good. I liked it. *8*

Stunning - Alex and Neil straight for the final! Let's have a dance-off between Michelle and Saffron - both have come to the end of the line in my opinion. Arm-o-graphy is a no from me - and AJ's lack of chemistry with his partner now really starts to show (odd - but the guy always seems more in love with himself than his partner).

I REALLY wanted to love this because we've seen Alex coming out of her shell so much recently and she's on an upward trajectory, but there was just something missing here for me. I think her shaping needed a bit more focus and she didn't look as confident as she did last week. Also I must say the headpiece was so distracting and can't have been easy to dance with either! But I absolutely loved the empowering theme and I just like Alex so much, I really want to see her go further and further!

Brilliant choreography! Absolutely brilliant! Did not like her frame. Her hair is gorgeous (well, Alex IS gorgeous!) but it covered her neck and shoulders and , as a result, she looked a little sloppy for Paso. I want to see this dance performed again, by all professionals.

Seriously poor marking for this one.... How can the judges be so wrong?! Mistakes?!? Like looking at Picasso's Guernica and moaning about a few paint strokes in the bottom corner..... Only a fool would allow their attention to be shifted by such trivialities. THIS was the best dance by FAR all season.... By FAR ! I do not understand the judging..... The choreography, the passion, the face, the ingenuity, the strength.... like a mini Hollywood movie - compared to just a couple of minutes of average dancing by most of the others. So so so watchable - repeat repeat repeat. Judges need to re-evaluate their criteria - or risk losing the single most vivid spark in the competition.

I think neil preferred dancing on his own sorry but she did not need him there he is okay in a group dance not good with a partner.there are so many fabulous dancers in strictly and Neil is not one of them he looks heavy on his feet and his choreography is okay but not as good as the other pros.

Idk about this. I like the overall performance, the facial expressions and the song but the choreography didn’t wow me for a Paso Doble. I feel like they were embodying too much Beyoncé and no one should copy the queen too much. Lol. Hopefully their next dance will be better. I’m on a cloud high from their jive last week. :))
