To be fair to Craig he has had major hip surgery and still suffers pain so it was a fabulous routine . If Len is scoring from heaven it's gotta be a seven .

I agree with what you say about Craig being hindered because of the surgery but compared to the other judges routines Craig’s was just a lot posturing. But the routine with all four judges as a whole was really enjoyable.

Craig's 'Padam' routine reminded me of the 'Choreography' dance from 'White Christmas' and I loved it 😍 Also loved how much Shirley clearly enjoyed dancing with Giovanni (who wouldn't?) And great to be reminded how good a dancer Anton is. Motsi was really enjoying herself too!The whole routine was amazing! Great start to the series ❤

For those asking the pro dancer that no one recognises dancing with Craig is Jake Leigh! Jake has been on Strictly as a backing dancer for Blackpool & Musical Weeks since 2014 & has done the Strictly Live Tour since 2015. He’s also helped choreograph some of the pro dances this series too. He’s also toured with Kylie Minogue & the Spice Girls. Jake is one of my favourite dancers, I always love watching him dance 🥰

Was one of the best opening performances in a long time 0:26 Motsi was so good dancing like her sis Oti 1:33 Shirley was so great dancing with Carlos and Giovanni and JoJo 2:08 Craig's dance was so fun to watch and funny the face expressions 2:58 Anton's dance with Kai, Neil and Lauren was so good it felt like Anton never left the pros 4:05 the group dance at the end was so in time and good and so powerful 😊 The judges and the pros were so in time and had their own dancing techniques😊

I give Anton 10 for every aspect of dancing. He shines above the other judges. I give Shirley and Motsi 9 and Craig 6 for effort but his performance was very stiff and lacked fluidity.

Motsi is a bit all over the place. Fabulous rhythm but doesn't have the finesse of Shirley. Probably why Motsi never won any championships in her time and Shirley is one of the most decorated dancers of all time. Queen of Latin

I've seen alot of people say bad stuff about craig's dancing. Consider these three tings: 1) He's had two hip replacements 2) He may be a dancer but his main area is choreography 3) The choreography for his portion of the dance was awful compared to the other three. No matter how good you are, you can't make bad choreography good

Time to check out SCD this morning and last night all the stars and their pros lid up at or on the floor as these stars waited until they come through. Anton really shine said Callum and with the pros on their new seat. Len's replacement was identified was the first to be the head judge. We asked Joe and Dianne who are on SCD to name her replacing Len as they made an incredible performance of the evening. That's later we'll be look at it....and now about the intro....By the way stripped suits were worned after the red light on the video wall used with their outfit. We'll be seing full episode of Strictly Come Dance as well as archival full episode hosted by their co-host Emily. Bill Forsythe host with her as two of them on their first season.....
