Tbf there are like 7 top managers in world football these days, we aren’t getting pep or klopp, alonso committed to leverkusen, carlo isn’t leaving Madrid for us and tuchel was sacked by us already, so that realistically leaves flick and Nagelsman and neither are coming here when we sacked a manager for wanting to pick signings after he managed to turn us around and made some progress. we should be thankful any manager would want to come here right now, we somehow managed to get a worse owner than the glazers and that takes some doing.

Those talks were unsuccessful because Chelsea couldn't disturb the locker room like they did last season and especially Amorim was still fighting for the title and will fight for the cup this Sunday against Porto. The deal was done weeks ago and set for the end of the season because with the high demand of managers how is Chelsea confident of announcing their new manager is days according to Fabrizio Romano...how?
