In my eyes Alex was the biggest snub being left off the 50th and 75th Teams!!!!!!!!!

During the 80's I was usually rooting against Alex English, but I've got great respect for his game. He was an incredibly efficient scorer. He would regularly put up 25 to 30 points and made it look easy. Unlike some of the more physical players of his time, he relied more on finesse and had a smooth game.

Was Alex English better than George Gervin or no?

@@aw144k9Alex English was a stronger more inside player then Gervin. Gervin and Alex English were big scorers. But AE was a serious offensive rebounder and second shot man. Gervin was a slender, slashing big time scorer. The two men played different styles. And even though they both usually played the same small forward or shooting guard positions, AE was more oriented toward the small forward spot. While Gervin was a more true shooting guard in the NBA.

Alex English was the epitome of class. The Nuggets teams in the 80s were breathtaking to root for. They had to be the highest-scoring team of all time.

Iceman wound up with the Bulls and played with Jordan for a little while but I don't think he liked him much because of the lack of respect Michael showed him. He used to call him old man.
