Ya know, it’s strange. For the longest time I could not understand why so many people shipped these two. And not for lack of an open mind or different beliefs, I’m gay myself. I truly saw them as just really good friends. And then I rewatched the series a few times and really paid attention to how they speak to and act around each other, and I did watch a few dozen fan edits. And to be honest, I get it now. They have a beautiful bond that seems to go a little deeper than just friendship, and I think that’s why it was so painful for Lena when she found out about Karas secret.
