Snooker had wiped Alex clean at this point, he was also playing with a terrible cue as he had lost 2 of his own, the governing bodies didn't want him anywhere near. Shame but he didnt help himself at times.

I agree, he did well to get this far into the tournament. Its a shame he couldn't sustain it.

​@@DamosChannel He certainly had enough ability to stay in the to 16 for a long time, the loss of crucial ranking point and massive fines finished him. He was trying to ride it out on natural ability but I think he lost the will to fight it.
