I heard this song at the shopping centre over a year ago. I kept writing down the lyrics to try and find the name of the song but I couldn't find it. I was very frustrated because it sounded extremely nostalgic, one of the few songs I haven't tracked down during my childhood. Just now, I I finished my brekky and heard the song on my dads radio. Now that I could hear the lyrics very clearly, I tracked it down and now I'm here!

We bought a couch off nick scali this time last year. I had completely forgotten that they used this song. I then heard it last week as i entered our local shopping centre and it stuck in my mind as my husband has been given maybe 3mths to live. I'd like to use it at his funeral. Going too soon 😥 but this song would resonate with so many people.

This beautiful song demonstrates on how life as a human should be. Being a rebel is a form of our nature. We get apprehensive or afraid by doing these things because it's against the law in a mainstreamed society which is viewed bad. We are all too wrapped up with social media trends, negative Nancy's, polltics etc.. yet we keep saying to ourselves that time is passing and ageing is a fear. What kind of memories do we hold living like this in our daily routine?? We get bitterness, depressed, doubts etc.. Life is full of surprises, don't wish your life away. Hold memories with your loved ones. Be a good moral person, be confident, be a rebel. Go out and live life. Because at the end of the day. Time doesn't matter. And one day you'll be thinking to yourselves that you were amazing which still shines on you today! ✌️☮️

As a much younger lad my neighbour and i built a 50 foot catermaran...installing the sound system was the last thing to be finished. We had no CD's to test it so Brian went out to his car and came back with one his daughter had left in his car. We put it on, turned it up....and Alex Lloyd "Amazing" came belting out in crisp clear audio. 22 years later, im finishing my own 45 footer and already have the Alex Lloyd CD ready to play once the sound system is ready to test.

When all you want to do is rock But you don't want to bear the shock no more When it's just sweat that fills your eyes Belated feelings that you have denied When every wolf is at your door Just like a hundred times before But you don't want to leave the end 'Cause you were amazing And we did amazing things And I wouldn't change it 'Cause we were amazing things! Rebuilding bridges in your mind Your eagerness now is on the line The plastic mountain at your feet Divided streets now as you look to find a seat When every wolf is at your door Just like a hundred times before But you don't want to see the end 'Cause you were amazing And we did amazing things And I wouldn't change it 'Cause we were amazing things And I really didn't want that push today No I really didn't want to end this way But the things that seem to bind us Are the things we put behind us on this day... 'Cause you were amazing And we did amazing things And I wouldn't change it 'Cause we were amazing things 'cause you were amazing (You captured of your time the shock) and we did amazing things (When everyone was sharp shot down) and I wouldn't change it (You captured of this time the shock) 'cause we were amazing (the shock)
