Apparently very few times wanted to participate in GT1 and GT2 because it was very expensive. This format only lasted a very short amount of time so the classes became switched to GTE and GT3 like they are today.

Only lasted 2 years 2010-2012... No one wanted to do GT2, and only few teams wanted to do GT1...

Approximately 1-2 seconds faster in contradistinction to contemporary GTE on the majority of tracks due to having less downforce.

Era una serie muy cara, por eso no duro mucho, pero en sus tiempos era maravilloso ver esas bestias en la pista. Mi favorito fue el Lamborghini R SV GT1 de Reiter Engineering.
