Hi Stephanie. Alex had a very bad shoulder injury for which he took prescription medication. He was worried that he was getting to reliant on the meds so he went into a rehab to ween himself off the meds. He is now 100% recovered and looking better than ever. Lucky for all he realized he had to do something about it before it became a real problem :)

I think in one of the fan questions videos he makes a veiled reference to that. When he and Scott were asked to describe each other he said Scott was one of his best friends and would do anything for his friends no matter "where you are or what you need he'd say "I'm there"
