Yes he did. Look at the fight from all camera angles. I’m a Pereira fan(I love his knee ko’s), and I saw exactly what Henry was talking about when assessing the fight, he said something like “sometimes you just need to push the pedal to the metal”, and once I combined it with a different camera angle. It made perfect sense. I still believe Pereira is unbeatable on the feet, but I’m no expert at all. Just a Pereira fan

Look at Brock v Carwin. It could have been stopped but wasn't and Brock came back. I'm sure it's tough and a lot of pressure on refs, but I agree w Triple C sometimes they could let it go a bit longer. Luckily Jiri a stud and ended any potential controversy in this case. But yeah, sometimes they are a bit early. But then on the flip side, refs take even more heat for being late too so.. I can see how it's difficult for some of them.. refs need to be smart and think quickly imo

I think if Izzy rematches he needs to change his weapons. Izzy needs to use push kicks side kicks and more clinch work with elbows. If he can elusively get into the clinch by faking takedown or even a half assed takedown attempt just to get close I think it's worth it. Fight the hands and use elbows
