36 is still a prime age in LHW division. Texeira won the title at 42-43, Cormier won it and stayed undefeated as LHW champion for several years, at almost 40 But pereira is still a beast

The higher the weight class, the more the prime age extends. In the lower weight classes, you need more skill, explosiveness and speed. The higher weight classes largely rely on one punch knockouts, and quite frankly, aren't as skilled or multidimensional.
