So cool to see your extremely precise playing style covering Matt's looser and more laidback (for lack of a better word) playing note for note. Really shows that even when playing the same exact parts, the drummer makes a huge difference.

Surely recording gear and the perfomance itself play an important role, but this mix sounds so sick! I think It's quite different from Nolly's (less punchy and a bit more organic overall), but they both fit really well!

Great playing as always! Was wondering, Why you usually place the top snare mic so high between rack toms? Obviously that doesn't disturb your fills, but what's the story behind that placement?
@jacobjung38147 жыл бұрын
I imagine it's to get the snare mic further away from the hihat. The less bleed, the better.

You can buy the stems for both Juggernaut albums and Periphery 3. Includes vocals, guitars (rhythm, atmospheric leads and solos I think), bass, drums and additional stuff like synths and orchestral stuff.

Are you using your 20" bass drum again for this, or is that a 22?
@andyham60947 жыл бұрын
Ryan R this video was taken a while back when he first posted 22 faces at the same studio and the good tiger play through he recorded at this studio and that was before he had the 22 inch bass drum. He often has videos he recorded a while back on the shelf till he has time to upload them one by one or just doesn't wanna release it all at one time who knows but he's def released older tracks and recordings in the past if he had to go on tour or something.
