Whenever a new Rudinger upload appears in my subscriptions list its basically pause whatever you are doing and watch... Wife giving birth? Tell her to hold off.... Wedding vows in progress and you are for some reason on KZbin? Tell them to hold off.... Rudinger covering Periphery... Id pause a speech at a funeral. 10/10, killed it.

Hey man, if your band is still needing someone to mix a record, I'd love to give a song a go for free. I'm no Nolly but I'd love to work on a heavy project (as well as the practice) if y'all would like some free mixes.

That god damn snare I need so bad. Every time I hear this thing I get chills. Best snare drum I've ever heard in my life. Only if I had 2,000 dollars to spend on a snare drum. Hearing Matt Garstka play this snare live and in rudingers videos with nollys mixing is too much for me to handle.

I must say, Alex you really got me influenced to play open handed by just moving my left hand crash to the left side of my high-hat. It is a lot of fun and I think I'm starting to see my left hand do a lot more.

Those ghost notes are killer! That is one thing I wish I learned, I always do single stroke because I'm a death metal drummer but god damn those ghost, double and triple stroke notes are beautiful, I feel like it would be too late for me to switch my style up but I absolutely appreciate drummers who make great use of space and filler spots.
@boobtubenoob70616 жыл бұрын
Never too late dude, ive been playing my style for 18 years and just switched it up recently. am also gonna stsrt playing with only my left side for a while to develop ambidextrous playing.

I think this is a perfect example of how "feel" influences the way a song sounds. Alex is an incredible drummer, and every single note he plays in this cover is spot on and incredibly accurate. But it doesn't sound "correct" with the Periphery sound. Alex is an incredibly precise drummer, and Matt is an incredibly groovy drummer. I guess what I'm saying is, Matt puts a groove into metal music that not many drummers have. Great drumming tho, as always from Alex
