The whole "We are cool with being mediocre" was the Wizards culture untill the GM got fired, the owner stopped making decisions and hired a president of bball ops, new GM, traded beal, and recently got a new coach. Also a renwed scouting department who is run by Travis Schlenk (Even he left ATL for wizards lol). These new guys were the clippers former GM and OKCs assistant GM. They are running it completely different in a good way thats why sarr wants to go to Washington. ATL is where we have been for 5 years prior.

The Wizards make a lot more sense than ATL because they are not going to force Sarr to limit his game in order to make the play in tournament. He will have a couple years to figure out his limits as a player in Washington before they are going to contend, so they won't mind if he chucks 4 three pointers a game and has a bunch of turnovers trying to play the wing in addition to playing center.

Draft him anyway. If he doesn't play so be it. Is he not confident in his abilities to make the team better? The purpose of the draft is to help make bad teams good. Hawks fans do not accept mediocrity in my opinion, they just don't waste their money going to the games. Many of the NBA fans that attend Hawks games root for the opposing team.
