How many 6’1” guards who played off the bench on a losing college team, who averaged 4.8 points a game as a freshman, should be a second round NBA draft pick? It is an insult to hundreds of better performing college players.

Bro, the problem is that nobody expects anything from Bronny at this point...lol. He was never an NBA prospect in the first place. If he was not Lebron's son, he would be just another struggling player hoping to make it. Stephen A is making this a social justice problem for his own reasons. More than anything else this is bad for Bronny's respect and future, especially if he fails. So, its pressure more than anything else in my opinion.

@@masteritnokdude why every argument that’s not fawning over Bronny goes back to someone else having daddy issues? It’s a lame and tired excuse of an argument. This commenter’s relationship with their father got nothing to do with them commenting on a main media story. It’s no comparison and you’re trying to get personal. This man and his son are in the spotlight. His son is grown making big bucks, and it’s being questioned if it is at all deserved. Let the chips fall where they may. This man don’t need your defense! The only thing that is annoying is that Lebron and Bronny, and everyone in that camp kept saying how Bronny wants to walk his own path and he wants to be own his man yada yada yada... Then Bronny's agent, Lebron's agent and best friend, basically told every team not to draft him and forced him onto the Lakers to be with Lebron. It's just disingenuous.

Ya'll crazy if ya'll think there won't be any UNSAID "tension" in the air on that team. @@PreparingTheWayForTheLord Speaking objective truth isn't putting someone down. Unless you think Bronny intentionally played poorly in college, there is no basis to predict that he'll be good in the NBA or to deny that he was only drafted because of who his father is. It's the literal equivalent of hiring a driver who crashed the first vehicle he drove and assuming he's going to do a good job driving a vehicle that is more difficult to drive. Sure it's possible. But it's highly unlikely. And there is nothing wrong with pointing that out. They could make the draft a private event that the media has no access to. Then no one would know who was drafted. That's what would be necessary if you don't want to allow criticism and analysis of whoever got drafted. Nobody here forced Bronny to leave college or to pursue a career in sports entertainment. Criticism is something be knew as part of the game. He does not need or benefit from your caping.

What a lot of people are missing is that ANY PLAYER being selected 50 and up during the college draft, is JUST A DEVELOPMENT PLAYER!!! Did y'all get that??? That's exactly what the Lakers organization are going to do with Bronny. They gonna help the kid to develop into a good player. He's a good defender already and they desperately need perimeter defenders. His basketball IQ is excellent too sooooo they hope he will grow up as a player specially playing alongside his dad that will be mentoring him so he can become a good catch and shoot and 3 points shooter 👍.

If he stayed, not only will Lebron be less valuable because he’s older, BUT bronny would also have shown throughout 4 years of college, that he is not NBA material. Now he is in, now the “perform in college” pressure is gone, now he can focus on training with NBA coaches bc he doesn’t really have playing time

It's so obvious that "obvious" is an understatement. The kids existence is unfortunatly based day to day upon who his father is.
