The first trick with the four of diamonds was very confusing, as I couldn't figure out what he was trying to do. And when he gave the woman her watch at the very end, it was even more confusing, because she wasn't even wearing a watch when she came on stage.

I agree! wtf was that? unless the trick was to convince the audience and the lady that she actually wore a watch(which she obviously didnt)

It's simple. He'd chatted with members of the audience before the show, spotted a good mark, and made his move. It's too bad this wasn't explained to the video audience.
