Personally I think the next infantry commander will be a super tank utilizing the two new formations for health and shields. I think Guan gets a healthy museum buff. Lilith won't let Guan die because they are a Chinese company and Guan is an important historical figure. Maybe it willl be a Sun Tzu Prime. It also might specialize against Engineering? Just my guess.

Very interesting, specially about the Nevsky thoughts. A question, so what about using Joan / Mehmed on a non artefact kvk, I ask because Mehmed has more tankiness but less skill dmg, well less dmg in general

Different commanders are best for dofferent spending levels. Infantry has the worst equipment out of all troops types and cav/siege has the best. Everyone jas their own opinion about who is the best, but it all depends on playstyle and strength of your enemies. For me the best trades by far were from my main cav march wchich is nevsky joan, but only because it is only march i run with t5 and the equipment is much greater. Joan allows me to pump skills all the time andnever get cought. Liu che is amazing of course but much better when you are winning and can chase enemy. If you are losing i dont agree at all. Yes this march is fast, but nowhere close to cavs. And if fighting against whales, all you can do to have great trades with liu alex march is cheeseburger. But if you are way ahead in crystal tech you have all the march speed you need to make this march work.

I'm in soc rn and have a 5531 Alex lying around from random events, should I Max him when going for 2 infantry marches or just wait for new inf rally/open field and Max those 2 commanders? They will come out at maybe pass 7 of my next kvk

I would max Alex. I find it unlikely that they’ll release 2 inf commanders capable of high level open fielding. It would make infantry way too strong and unbalanced.

As an infantry main I can say that I had phenomenal reports with liu alex, I can't wait to see the new commanders, I hope that Prime Sun Tzu will finally arrive, what do you think will happen because everyone has been waiting for him for two years?

Most likely weaker than Liu Che. If the new commander is as strong as Liu Che the game would be too unbalanced towards infantry

@@68Busdriver I would disagree that it would be unbalanced if an infantry commander like liu che comes, looking at other troops infantry players need a commander like Huo or Beli.

@@darkoradulovic1292 you’re making conflicting points here. Liu Che is clearly in another level as a commander right now. Huo and Beli I would argue isn’t even as good as scipio. If another LC level commander is released for infantry next, the second best infantry March would be clearly better than the best archer or cav March. That would make the troop types unbalanced.

@@68Busdriver No brother, you didn't understand me, I replied that I don't think it would be like that if the commander of Liu Che's force comes, that's my opinion because there are commanders in other troops who are as strong as Alex but the players don't use them, that's actually their problem . And unrelated to that, I said that infantry players need someone like Huo because the cycle of single target commanders is on the way, at least I think it will be like that.

Yo boss, the part where you said Boud doesn’t get a skill damage boost, couldn’t you just consider the 35% Debuff from her active skill a skill damage boost?

Not apples to apples. Skill damage taken debuff affects one target. Skill damage increase will affect your damage to multiple targets. Ideally you have both but for 5 target AOE commanders the skill damage increase will be more valuable

@@865bek8 pyhrrus primary with lui should work great cause of 40% normal damage increase. and they together provide, 60% def, 10 health, 40% skill damage reduction which is hugeeeeee. i wanna see the results as well.

This is very interesting. I finished fighting in kvk and calculated the results from marches. I used: Nev/joan, huo/william, ZL/hermann, guan/scipio and Liu che/alex. When I dropped to 4 marches I benched guan and Alex and run scipio/liu che. In terms of best performing marches they were: 1.huo/William (by a large margin) 2. Nev/joan 3.scipio/liu che (has best gear) 4. Lou che/alex 5. ZL/hermann 6. Guan/scipio (dated and to targeted) The most impactful march for my setup was ZL/hermann. I truly think everyone needs this march. They really help cav the most due to poison and all damage aoe debuff. In a big murderball once the poison had max stacked ZL/hermann was always the last march standing. I actually felt like they would have had the most kills. IMO this was my MVP as without this march I wouldn’t have performed as good. Alex has very high attack so any march with high attack gets great trades. Harald/alex would always be in my top 3 kills every kvk. It was amazing while it lasted. I used scipio/liu che due to scipios health aoe debuff. You lose alex all damage debuff but I found I performed better on a whole with scipio/liu che as I melt the target so quickly and scipio debuff fired more. Goes to show we can have completely different experiences. Great work bud 👍

I’d recommend getting the report manager if you are someone that likes calculating the results for $50/year. Between all of the marches I did use I had over 20,000 reports. I can’t imagine compiling and calculating that many reports manually.

What are your thoughts now that WW/LC is now the best march in the game. Im a new player in kvk1 and maxed ysg with the 2nd wheel. Still invest in Alex or skip?

@@tyice8730 I actually made a video about it that’ll post Sunday morning. I think LC/Alex is still the best March by a little bit. I’d max Alex and then LC when he’s available. I think the biggest reason is because WW’s third skill does not work like it reads for AOE. It only increases the damage dealt to one target even when you hit multiple targets.

for kvk4 you definitely shouldnt have 4 marches as a mid spender imo, more like 3 as a max and 2 as a minimum i agree with everything else though - and the 4 marches is a good goal for kvk5 i do also think you should have included potential for a siege march

When you dont get swarmed in murderball then ZL with herman should be better than LC.... i mean yeah Liu is strong af but ZL with herman have alot of aoe and alot of dot damage But im a LC and Alex Fan too so fck These archers 😂

Pyrrhus boosts normal damage. Which smite damage consists of but one has to put him primary in order for Liu to take advantage of that normal damage boost from his active in my opinion but who would put Pyrrhus in primary in SoC? That's like putting Alex primary in order to increase the damage taken from his active so Liu can take advantage of it too. Unless one micro manages the march in my opinion. I think that the developers have to continue down the smite damage path with infantry to be honest. There's just NOT many commanders to pair Liu Che other than Gorgo that deals smite damage. I believe Scipio/Liu would be best if someone puts cage of thorns in the talent tree in order to further boost the AoE slow march debuff but the thing is, who really cares about slowing down people? There's a conflict in this march because of smite damage and skill damage are different so it's either wedge or arch formation. Guan has become more a support march commander that is highly targeted because of his AoE silence and of course, very squishy. People tried to put Leo behind him and I heard he does well but it's too slow. All in all, I think bringing debuffs are still important though in the open field and I'm glad to see the developers keeping in mind the old commanders.

I just used MoneyMoto/YSG in kvk2. It's insanely good. I don't understand why the content creators hate YSG. You just can't use epics until kvk3..

It’s about being able to save heads to you can jump immediately into the meta. YSG is still a good commander, he just isn’t meta.

YSG pairs poorly with Boudica. So if ppl were running ZL/Hermann, Boudica/YSG wasn’t cutting it. You’ll also have a different perspective once you get to kvk3 where you are short on GHs chasing commanders for at least 3 kvks.

@@68BusdriverI don’t think zl Herman has enough march speed either. I’ve had better luck with ashur/herman. Archers are targeted so hard, they need to be quick. It probably depends on how much sustained ball fights you get though.

@@68Busdriver I max tech as well and have the crit flag. The boots however are not tiered despite it being almost a fully crit set. I’m an infantry main so archer gear is in the backseat. That speed via the boots probably needs to happen.
