Alexa seems really talented, hard working and fully deserving of her success + a nice person!! With a Graphic Design background myself, I know that there are much more opportunities in affluent areas like London where you might 'rub shoulders' with an intern at Vogue compared to a working class background up north... it's a very different world and not as easy to achieve without affluent connections.

Connections really play a very very important role when it comes to finding your career, most especially in the fashion industry. Most of the time, people who don't have connections in the fashion world often end up entering in another field, or doesn't last long in their career. It's a really scary thing to think about and even though i'm still at my first year in college, already thinking about how i can enter the world of fashion sometimes make me nervous and depressed. Because i know the insane competition in the fashion world and if i end up not getting the job that I really want to see myself in, then idk anymore.... But really tho, sometimes the fear of the unknown can encourage you to step up your game and take the risk of going out to the world, do a little more adventure, and to push yourself to develop even further because there are more things you need to discover about yourself than you think you know you already are.
