The fact that Dan is letting one of his former employees interview him rather than a legitimate journalist is very telling. He wants to put on a show of holding himself accountable without letting go of any control he has over the narrative.

I got so mad at the end when he said “there should be a therapist there to make sure the kid really wants to be on tv and understands what’s going to happen”. Are you kidding me? No child would expect to be subjected to sexual harassment on a TV show. It wasn’t never about the kids not actually wanting to be on TV, it’s about YOU manipulating children on YOUR tv show. @@amylee8969 you don't need remorse to be embarrassed. He's not embarrassed because what he did in secret for years came to light, he's embarrassed because they're attacking him as a person and judging him for things he feels personally justified in doing, because narcissists, due to their delusions of grandeur, feel a since of entitlement to things they believe they're owed (on the grounds of merely existing as themselves). He's suing because he has a fragile ego (hence the abuse and temper tantrums when people ever questioned his authority) and wants to silence the victims (again) the makers of the platform that boosted their voices (makers of the documentary). Dan basically says he wants to apologize... but never actually does. If he really meant it, he'd reach out to each and every person in the doc, and even those that weren't. He hasn't. He's already built his empire and he comes off as if he currently has no shame about anything he did. Cut the jokes out? The damage has already been done. My heart absolutely breaks for Drake Bell and what he went through. I couldn't watch his interview without crying my eyes out. The fact that his father had his suspicions and it happened anyway, especially when he warned Drake's mother and she simply didn't listen... omg 😢💔 She failed her son, point blank. A year and 4 months is *NOT LONG ENOUGH* for what Brian Peck did to him!!! I also cried when they found all the child porn and a child's undergarment in Jason Handy's house and what he wrote in his journal. Absolutely disgusting and horrifying. And Boogie.... you say you can't speak on anyone's journey, but then you go and speak about Amanda? 🧐 If you can't speak on another's journey.... why are you conducting this interview? Why not go to the victims and ask them if they'd care to speak further about their journey? You literally praise Dan for the work he's done, including the success of the black actors. What about those black actors that were treated poorly and those that had to go to therapy? Screw them, right? Disgusting. You gave him the opportunity to paint himself in a better light. Dan and his fake tears played you like a fiddle and you don't even see it smh. The *ONLY THING* I can agree with is suggesting a therapist on set. Some kids might not know how to tell their parents they don't feel comfortable, safe, or they're not interested in the industry. A therapist might be able to pick up on subtle body language clues and can tell when something is wrong. Kids need a lot more protection than that though... asking parents to leave the room while the adults speak to them is highly unacceptable. No minors should be left alone in a room full of adults. This whole thing makes me sick... especially when Brian got a job at Disney after all of this. What in the actual fk?? I'm officially *DONE* with Disney! Hearing some of my favorite childhood celebrities defended a child predator is absolutely mind boggling to me. Seeing adults actually victim blame a *CHILD* and claiming the adult was the victim is in a whole different world of its own. I've caught small glimpses of shows on Nickelodeon here and there and I just never understood what people saw in them. They simply weren't funny, imo. I'm deeply sorry to each and every one of you that suffered at the hands of Dan Schneider, Brian Peck, Jason Handy, Cody Longo, Marty Weiss, and Ezell Channel. Watching this doc and this interview was hard, I can't even imagine having to actually live through it. You all have my deepest sympathy and I wish you all nothing but healing and happiness.

Brian Peck for example was gay therefore if you were a girl on one of his sets, you (probably) wouldn’t think heads nor tails of the guy because he just simply wasn’t going to target you. Anyways Dan gets to walk right up to the edge here without crossing the line, and unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll ever see him fully pay for what he’s done. At the end of the day he gets to sit there in his fresh Nikes and lay in bed inside of his $9 Million Hidden Hills mansion and enjoy the rest of his riches. Life really ain’t fair 🧐.

Two things I'd like to discuss: 1. Dan mentions there being parents on set that never mentioned anything to him but in the documentary two of the parents who spoke out describe being ostracized for their actions and eventually one of the child actors was inexplicably let go after their mother spoke out numerous times on their behalf. 2. How can a child feel comfortable expressing their genuine feelings to a therapist when they are on Dan's payroll and anything they say can be used as a reason to let them go and destroy their entire career before it's even begun? The therapist idea would only serve as a tool for Dan to preserve his self-image and as a means for manipulation to extract information from children who aren't willing to concede to Dan's every whim. This whole interview was so disgustingly disingenuous and insidious. Personally I believe Dan's actions after finding out what happened to Drake were his way of distancing himself from a known predator so he wouldn't be suspected as an accomplice to his crimes, he was most likely fully aware of what was happening.

I want to see him talk about how he handled the Brian Peck and Jason Handy situation with the kids on All That. Why weren’t each of those kids individually interviewed by a detective? I couldn’t believe it when they said they told all the parents to leave and just asked them all if they had anything to say and after a minute went, alright that’s it, thanks! Like seriously? What if one of those little boys were also victimized by Peck? They aren’t going to admit it in front of a room full of their peers! It’s hard enough to say out loud! And then they didn’t even say anything about Jason, he just disappeared.

"If I would have known back then, I would have changed it." You always knew what you were doing, Dan. You literally (as told in the docu-series) told ALL of the parents from the child actors and actresses to LEAVE the room to barely and briefly adress the former employee who r*ped and s*domized a CURRENT child actor you were working with in order to not get sued/be held responsible for child endangerment by them. You knowingly SEPARATED children from their legal guardians, the ONLY ones who could (and you knew potentially WOULD, have they known) protect and remove them from that enviroment, JUST TO CONTINUE THE SHOW. A child can't emotionally take that information like an adult could. A child can't proceed to take action in that situation. THE PARENTS AND GUARDIANS needed to be primarily informed of that, and you deliberately withheld that from them. They only knew because of rumours and then the news. And guess what? Not only did it happen that time, but it did again. AND THEN AGAIN. 3 child predat*rs on the set, guess what (who) the common denominator is here! But yeah, pressuring a female coworker to scream "I'M A SL*T!" in a room full of people by threatening to put her job on the line if not totally comes out of naiveness of being a boss for the first time! You didn't know! Oopsie!

I’d argue cutting the footage is even worse because it’s deleting evidence on a historical basis. It’s point blank, in your face evidence of his abuses. If the footage is cut, what’s to stop Dan from calling the victims liars 20 years from now? Without the footage, it has the possibly to become legal hearsay and that’s a dangerous precedent.

I feel so completely bad for these child actors / child actresses for going through everything they went through behind closed doors all of these years of Nickelodeon. Dirty Dan really sexualized them & had the nerve to post a pointless, staged, scripted & unnatural interview on his KZbin channel & then he had the nerve to disable the comments on his channel. I definitely lost a lot of respect for Boogie for letting Dan get away with a lot of things / stuff he has literally done to these child actors / child actresses for sexualizing them by interviewing him & letting him used him by paying him off. I really wish Ariana Grande can speak about her experience about Nickelodeon & everything & exposing this monster predator Dirty Dan but I know if she speaks on her experience on Nickelodeon & exposing this predator Dan, she can lose everything like her music career, her life, her hard work & her reputation. So that’s real reason why she’s STILL not speaking her experience on Nickelodeon & keeping her mouth shut. I already know Dan paid her off to keep her mouth shut. I’m so very happy & glad that Jennette Mccurdy, Daniella Monet & Alexa Nikolas for finally speaking out about their experiences on Nickelodeon & what they went through behind closed doors. Now hopefully, more actors / more actresses from Nickelodeon can finally speak out & expose Dan for all of the sexualizing these child actors / child actresses. I literally cannot believe he literally sexualize these child actors / child actresses on the show. I’m so disappointed, I’m so disgusted, i’m so mad, I’m so sad, I’m so upset, I’m so angry & I’m so pissed. I really hope & pray Dan gets locked up for putting this child actors / child actresses life in danger by sexualizing them. // This interview seems so very staged, scripted, unnatural & pointless at this point. That interview was definitely not going anywhere because speaking nothing. The fact that he’s still not rooting in jail is absolutely beyond me. This monster predator needs to be locked up in jail for sexualizing these poor child actors / child actresses behind closed doors / on the show. The fact that Dan believes his own lies & that he’s only sorry because he got caught is extremely what you called a narcissistic behavior. & the fact that these poor child actors / child actresses we’re sexualized by this predator / this clown / this monster is literally heartbreaking & sad. They really risked their childhood by giving us their best childhood shows. My childhood shows is totally ruined. & also the fact that he had the audacity to make himself fake cry with fake alligator tears is what you called narcissist behavior. He really put these child actors / child actresses life through hell & back & now he’s finally getting his karma & the taste of his own medicine.

They’re not gonna open up or say anything important so he has to pretend to be on Dans side.
