ive made a farm like this in almost every survival server ive been in, so i have afew tips for anyone trying to recreate this. 1. if you want to do the water like this video, just know your going to either have to build up those walls so that potatos dont get caught on them, and when you go to replant the potatos, go from the bottom up. 2. if you do the water like how I do it, I set it up as a 9x5, so every four blocks you put a water source (SLAB OVERTOP THE WATER SOURCE SO THAT YOU CAN SMOOTHLY WALK OVER) 3. what I do, is I set it up so half the farm goes through a water system into a chest at the front of the farm, and the other half goes into a smoker system, that eventually puts them also into a chest at the front of the farm. typically I find that half of the farm is enough potato to replant it, and whatever I have left I compost. 4. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THE WATER FLOW AUTOMATICALLY, DO NOT USE PISTONS TO RELEASE THE WATER. I did this in my first ever draft of the farm, if your doing this early game to get a lot of food, dont. its so much easier to use trapdoors, they work the same redstone-wise. thats it, I haven't perfected it obviously but I think the way i set it up is pretty smart, hope this helps!

That's how I do my wheat. Except, you need a reservoir at the end, with a pair of water sources (one on each end of the reservoir) to gather all the crops in one spot. With a hopper, you can easily have them funneled into a chest.

Or you just put multiple hopper with minecarts down that also have hoppers under them and lead directly to a chest cuz it's 10000% faster
