Thank you for posting this version of The Curlew - which was the one I first heard, and remains (I think) the best interpretation. Young's voice and the raw, earthy quality of the ensemble perfectly fits the mood of this intensely dark and haunting piece. Partridge's version (which is a fine one), doesn't quite have that quality. Also the lilt and flow of some of the settings is perfect in Young's recording.
