Regarding Ross and Red hulk. These cards are technically a "shadow nerf" to Evo...like if you are already playing Evo, maybe with Banner, you know it's tough against the meta, then you fight a Surtur deck with T. Ross and you casually give them free draws while your banner may not even transform. They really need tl buff the card, but it's already late cause they were un holiday

BLACK SWAN is amazing and it's an archetype on itself. Theres a lot of great decks with her. Bounce, Drac Dump, War Machine Move (all very creative and fun to play). One of my favorite cards. If you like explosive last turns where you play lots of cards, you should get it. Just watch out for that Red Guardian ;) Thanks for the video, Alex!

Yeah I like her too but competitive players might as well play move bounce that can get a lot more power output then regular bounce running black swan. And if you look ahead at the upcoming bounce cards I think that might mean we have to cut black swan from regular bounce due to competition as well. At that point only dracula dump remains which is good but niche.

Makkari Surfer is legit. Rode ol reliable Sufer with Makkari in it last season to infinite. My comfort deck. Surfer is by far my best deck to get me to infinite many times. Makkari definitely has made a difference in alot of my wins.

I think you are undervaluing Thunderbolt, It will be one of the the best deck thinning cards in the game if you are running a combo deck.

Regarding Bullseye, I think the problem with him and all affliction cards comes down to the same thing. If affliction becomes strong, Luke Cage just gets put into all decks. I think Luke Cage needs to go back to just protecting 1 location and more anti-affliction cards need to be made to take the pressure of this 1 card answer.

Maybe he could be an on reveal card, or protect just from aflcition proactively, not retroactively. But he needs a nerf. Problem is that if he gets a nerf, some of the afliction cards need to be nerfed.

No, this sentiment has been going around, and it's just not a thing they should do. Affliction types have way too many ways to lower power around the board, you're just asking to allow these decks to run rampant with little to keep them in control. Every deck doesn't have Luke cage. Yall get scared that tech cards are gonna ruin your fun when these new cards come out, then boom, people move on and proceed to play other decks that do not include that tech card. Bullseye will be fine.

I think Ross is underrated, imagine other way, you draw a big card for free, so now you have a better chance to get your core card that is less big. So it does help a lot for making your targeting card comes on hand likelier, unless your hand is stuck with 7 cards...

These spotlights are getting good, but I just hate that for every week, I already have one or two cards, and for some of them, I already have one or two spotlight variants because out of all of them I bellieve that the only cards that haven't already appeared in spotlights are Zemo and Blink, while every other one already appeared more the once in the spotlights and we still have some pretty good cards that never returned.

Ross is simply an arishem card imo. Probably not anywhere else, surtur if you want but meh. I however think we have to keep in mind that SD have said they are going to buff the high evo cards so Ross is probably the release valve counter if that deck gets to a really good position again. If they just buff the evo cards by a power each suddenly the deck can go from tier 3 to like tier 1-1.5 range

As a F2P player who's played for a while and also used to spend $ on the game, spotlights have become so frustrating because I just can't justify rolling when I have 1 or 2 cards in the spotlight already. Keys aren't cheap, and hitting the one you already have feels so bad

Black Swan as a 1star when she's crucial to Moon Girl dump kinda shows you've been a little out of touch with the metagame. I literally onetricked this list to top 500 for 3 seasons running and plenty of people play it too around the top 5k mark. Like, it just feels so dismissive to rate her so low, even lower than Nocturne which has been powercrept by Rocket&Groot
