at 16:40 how did the y*1/3(3)^2-y*1/3(0)^2= 9y? I got 3y. Does 1/3(3)^2=3? the 0 makes the right hand 0 making it 3y-0?

The radius is actually 1 and the height of the cylinder is 4. As you look at the figure, the "circular" part of the cylinder goes from x = -1 to x = 1, thus giving a diameter of 2 (radius of 1). The cylinder extends along the y-axis from y = -2 to y = 2, hence a height of 4. Hope this helps!
