Hi Lexi! I'm loving all of your recommendations 😃 I'm not sure if you do Spring Fling O' Ween, but I'm always looking for a reason/excuse to read spooky or Halloween themed books anytime of the year. I've recently found All Our Hidden Gifts (YA, paranormal fiction by Caroline O'Donoghue), and Curse the Day (an adult cozy paranormal mystery by Annabel Chase). I wanted to throw those 2 books your way, since I know those would be right up your alley 😃 Looking forward to your next video, and enjoy the rest of your week! ❤🧡☕🍄🍄🍄

Ohmygosh, I think you will really like A Wizard's Guide to Defensive Magic by T.Kingfisher. It's about a 14 year old witch with a sourdough starter for her familiar. Also, she can only do magic through bread but is tasked to save the people. Can she? It's a short book but is such an amazing one! 💓

Hi, Lexi! I am loving a lot of the books in this list! I've had my eye on a few for a while now. I shall be adding them to my GoodReads "to be read" list after this (name is Dolly Thorne)😊. As for the movie side there are a few I haven't actually heard of... To be honest the only ones I've heard of are Brigerton and Matilda 😅 oops. Thanks for another video though, Lexi! Loved it as usual 🥰 You inspired me to start my own KZbin channel again. I had one for years all about makeup but decided to start again with my new hobbies of Reading, Crochet and a plethora of other things 🥰 thank you so much! Hope to be as good as you one day! Sending love and light, Dolly xo 🍄🍄🍄🍄

I need a book recommendation about a book set in a place on an island very tropical I would love a book about a character that lives on an island not on vacation. Any suggestions?
@caitlyn.m.t96182 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the fact you included a gothic read. I personally love the idea of gothic/horror/thrillers set in summer or spring. Especially when it is in a green setting. Alice Adventures in Wonderland is definitely a very springtime read, and I am happy you included a wayward children book. I love that series, but I would personally argue all the books are springtime. I don't know why, maybe I just see portal fantasy as either a spring or a winter thing, maybe it is because in most of them nature is a prominent feature.

Ugh I have Gallant standing by but I need to finish my CPA exam first! Joanne Harris (Chocolat) also wrote one of my favorite modern adult fairy tales, A Pocketful of Crows. It…changes you. Tuck Everlasting is such a lovely film. Even as an adult it really taps into something within me.

I'm currently in Vacaville, California visiting my sister and brother in law and a few days ago, I went to Barnes and Noble and I brought Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco and You've Reached Sam by Dustin Thao and then I brought A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray from Savers, a thrift store and I was so exciting. I know that You've Reached Sam is a spring kind of book because the cover has cherry blossoms and its so sweet 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
