I don't think the $200 skin care thing should count. They are absolutely a scam, they came out awhile ago and I can't remember who it was, but they debunked all the claims. Plus like that review said, hardly any skin care actually works with it. If I remember correctly they were pushing a certain skincare brand when you got down to it, it was like the only skincare that would work with it so pretty sure there was kickback or something going on!

I tried to cancel all my ipsy/fake boxy the other day. Was able to do the glam bag, old lux, BUT, was unable to cancel the old regular boxy. They set it up to where you can't actually cancel your subscription without contacting someone. Super frustrating. When they sent me the "iconbox" with cut up paper and a broken eyeshadow pallet, I was officially done.

Canceling ISPY was a nightmare for me when I stopped in like 2016. Couldn’t/ wouldn’t cancel mine online and kept trying to insist I called. Had to basically make a scene and threaten action because as a disabled customer who has to use a TTS to make phone calls and even then it’s an immense struggle, canceling over the phone only should not be the only option. I had to play all the damn cards to get them to cancel over email, including telling them I was going to report the charges as unauthorized and that this was my formal written email to cease consent for payments to be made to my account. Whole damn nightmare, “glad” to see they’re up to the same bullshit

I wonder if you did a profile with a dark skin tone you might get makeup with deeper more adventurous tones. Then you could donate any complexion products that don’t work to shelters like you were doing before but keep the more adventurous/deep color cosmetics.

You got some great boxes. Yeah, I think 2 boxes is plenty enough and that's a great idea to make the profiles very different to hopefully get a wider range of products. They do go off your history as well though so they might not change right away. Make sure you review the products bc that helps you get what you want in your boxes too. One of those boxes has the beauty boost bc the Ole Henriksen moisturizer was the beauty boost this month. Loved the video as always! Hugs to the boys!

I've learned you can only customize on the 2nd of the month no matter what it says. That mascara was actually impressive, I'm not normally a fan of the MAC mascaras. I was happily surprised. 😂 I can't get excited about the exercising either. But the cream seemed nice on my skin, not sure how well it works. I haven't had an allergic reaction in the test spot yet, though, so that's positive. I got the primrose palette and blue tooth thing as well. The jlo face cream smells sunscreen-y. The brushes were nice. The Peach lipstick might smell good. I got one not sure of color match but my cold that it was desert at first. 😂 I was like, please, don't eat that. I'm jealous you're had packing foam mine didn't and some of the products showed the bad packing issues. Broken issues

When I was getting ipsy I remember I typically went through the link in the email they sent to choose my items otherwise I remember it being really hard to find where you can actually choose on the website. I'm in Canada, and that box costed me $92!!! And, I guess I was lucky because I got the Modern Renaissance Palette. It's fine, but surprisingly it has a lot of dustiness to it, but the pigment is pretty good. The shipping costs are outrageous. Depending on who the next so called 'Icon' is, I may be cancelling. My Icon box just shipped today. Due to arrive on the 9th of JUNE!!! I did get the Boost in an advent calender last year and can honestly say I have noticed a difference in how well my skin care is absorbed. I was very skeptical about it, but have been pleasantly surprised by how well it works, once you master the process of programming the damn thing 😂

I am pretty sure that the 200 bluetooth thing does not work like they said. Sure, it might help to some extent but not the way they say it "forces the products deeper into your skin" or what it was. And I think keep 2 of the boxes, to get a wide(r) range of products maybe one skincare heavy one and one makeup heavy one? I dont know, I think these videos are super fun as a beautybox subscriber myself (Glossybox), I wish we had Ipsy over here because I love the fact that you get a bag with every one!

I tried the ABH brow serum when it first came out, bzzagent sent it to me to review, I used it per the directions for 12 weeks and i didn't see any growth, maybe they felt softer like conditioner makes your hair softer but hopefully it works better for you. I've still never tried any ABH palettes, I think I'm the only person who hasn't 😢😂 That 200 $ skincare gizmo screams wish product or like it would be found in the"as seen on tv" aisle in Walgreen's 😂😂😂 The larger boxes weren't too bad, a nice variety of items. I had the same issue. I signed up for icon box because i needed a new eyebrow pencil and i use a lot of the abh products. So when i signed up, i thought they werent going to let me customize since it waa my first box. I logged on that choice morning and it looked like your screen, BUT a few hours later, i tried again and ingot to pick my items, add addons and etc.. so yeah, im not sure exactly what the choice time is, boxy used to have that and i loved it. My first ipsy box, choice started first thing in the morning so now i just log on first thing and keep checking til its ready. I was reallly happy with this box. Except they can keep the J.Lo products they keep pushing lol.

Pretty sure the Ole Henricksen is your beauty boost product. You should be able to customize on the 2nd and 3rd of every month for the boxy and icon box. I'm not sure if the glambag customization is the same date every month I just know it's towards the end of the month.

After having Boxy for 3 years I finally cancelled 2 days ago. NOT only have I STILL not received my box and its the... 25th!!, I was mainly keeping the sub because of the boxyshop (prices unbeatable) and unfortunately, ipsy shop has basically doubled the prices on everything and the selection isn't good... at all. It's VERY disappointing. You should do a video on what subs you'd recommend over Ipsy. You're the only one I trust 😘😘

Yes keep two accounts. Only have one of them subscribed to the icon box cuz then when it’s icon box month you will get the glam bag, your boxycharm by Ipsy from one account and the upgrade to the icon box from the other account. That is what I do! Then I don’t have FOMO lol

Your boxes were way better than mine. My profile is makeup heavy and marked as a blonde. I got one mini palette and a brow pencil in medium brown when I wear blonde. I didn’t get any other makeup, the rest was skincare and I didn’t get JLo either. I was really disappointed

If leave it till the 4th you may find the thing you want is all allocated. Best to get in early. I normally customise first thing in the morning about 7am my time

I've had the literal most frustrating week between my cat being sick and snotty, my kiddo's finals week being sabotaged by bureaucratic dimwits not talking to the teachers and transportation, and to cherry top off the Murphy-fueled sundae, my car died when kiddo needed me most. Were it not for a few AMAZING faculty at his school, I'd probably be a complete wreck. This unboxing video made me smile(especially the Tater cameo), so thank you. Also, if you have not tried it, Yogi Throat Comfort 'Tea' or Traditional Medicinals Throat Coat 'Tea' sipped as you film may help with your voice issues. I drink those Tisanes(because they have no Tea leaves, they're technically Tisanes) before speaking or singing to keep my vocal chords from being too dry and straining them to injury(again). If not, Thayers Slippery Elm Lozenges work much the same way(and have the same taste), and do the same job.

With the customization thing it will do that to me either when I have already picked or when the period has ended but the link is still there. I set myself an alarm. I have to get up at 4am on the 2nd of every month to make it in as soon as it opens (because that does make a difference), I hate having to get up at 4am just to ensure I get decent picks 😭😭😭. Also I don't always get the best picks anyways.
