i think this AU would look really cool animated but i do feel like the pearl for this AU should've been Blue Diamonds pearl from the original show, the pearl in this AU does look more like Yellow Diamonds pearl, though this is just my opinion and the original artist has their opinion

i think the reason why yellow's pearl is there: remember volleyball? she used to be pink's pearl assistant but after pink physically damaged her, white replaced her by Pearl, for the next 5,000+ years, volleyball was under White's control, so i can see the same thing happen to blue diamond's pearl, thus the reason yellow's pearl is in this AU, so white is probably in control of blue's pearl while blue gets yellow's pearl.

I’m not big on SU roleswap aus, but I think it’s because gems are designed based off their diamond, I believe. I think the idea is that because the roles of the diamonds are swapped, the designs of the characters change- for example, in this AU, Sapphire isn’t part of Blue Diamond’s court, but White Diamond’s.

Nope. In the original, Pink traded pearls with White. So its only natural, that in this AU Yellow and Blue trade pearls, since Yellow is on White´s place in this AU, and Blue is on Pink´s.

Well it's cause alot of people believe pearl used to be whites, considering she is mainly white and her gem is on her head, and that pink and white traded pearls because pink broke pink pearls form, so with that is this au it would be blue as pink and yellow as white so if they traded as blue damaged her pearl, she would end up with yellow pearl
