Didn't know Alexei had a pod cast, I will sub to it straight after this, loving these podcasts too though, even been watching Richard not Judy etc. I can't remember the show, but recognise all of the sketches so I obviously used to watch! I remember adopting the I am rod hull voice on several occasions over the years! And the week lemon drink always got a mention if I spotted a train spotter! Great stuff still, thanks for everything✊

Alexi challenged Owen Jones on the Antisemitism bullshit. Jones refused to admit that AS had been weaponised. Alexi is one of the very few to have the guts to call this BS out. No one owns him. He's 100% his own man. Also, David Baddiel was on Frankie Boyle's 'edgy' BBC programme spouting bullshit about the antisemitism 'crisis'. And Boyle didn't call it out. What he did do was make a 'joke' on stage about Corbyn 'cursing the Jews'. What a let down. I remember in Boyle's autobiography 'My Shit Life so far', he said, 'I'm a cnut, perhaps a bigger cnut than most, but this is one cnut that definitely you're not going to fcuk'. Well, would agree with the former, and disagree with the latter. Boyle's book is now in the bin. What a coward. Thank God we have Alexi Sayle. A real 'national treasure'.

It's interesting reading this 2 years on now that Owen Jones effectively holds the same position as Alexei and has left Labour for it, but it's just a shame it took the current situation for him to change. I mean, I think he was always against the actions of Israel in principle but I think he felt he could do more being a member, but he eventually realised it wasn't making a difference and I think now he realises he was part of the problem.

Why the fuck are we continuing with bland sycophantic interviews on television when there is a man who interviews people so brilliantly and draws out of them things which they would never reveal from the normal banal questioning. I know that things change once they become more mainstream but Richard’s very genuine and irreverent way of asking questions is so much more interesting than anything that is on any TV channel. If I were Sky Arts I would be breaking his door down (I am aware that Sky Arts is not a person and therefore doesn’t have a physical presence to damage doors however you know what I mean)

Julian Sands, not Julien Temple. And he was by far the worst thing about the film - see also the Warlock film series and Mark Kermode's singling out of him as a bad actor. Meanwhile every time Lex cropped up in a film in the 80s I had to question why he was there - since, love him or not, he really didn't show any talent. Gorky Park for instance - incomprehensible.
