Thanks for the info. When you got back to Livorno from Pisa did you take a taxi back to the center to take shuttle bus back to ship?

We had the taxi drop us right off at the port in Livorno and walked back to the shop from there. We didn't explore Livorno.

Having got the shuttle bus to piazza del municipio in Livorno myself and my partner found that it was easier to share a taxi to Pisa with two other couples who was wanting to go to Pisa there was taxi drivers waiting at the shuttle bus drop off with the fares advertised which was 120 euros return for the hire of the taxi and the taxi will wait for two hours while you look around Pisa but it takes longer than 15 minutes than what was said on this video it takes about 30 -40 minutes you normally find people in the tourist information office who maybe are looking to find someone else to share a cab they are normally from the same cruise ship you are on so its a good way to make new friends on the journey as well hope this helps folks

I think the map you are referring to is from the Rick Steve's Guide. He has digital and paper copies available for purchase for just about every city in Europe.

I realize this video was posted 3 years ago but was wondering if you remembered how much time you spent in Florence before heading to Pisa and how long you were in Pisa as well. Also what time did you disembark from the cruise. Sorry for all the questions lol. My wife and I are doing the same trip in September and I'm trying to make sure the timing works right so we can get back to the cruise ship on time.

We spent about 5-6 hours in Florence and 1-2 hours in Pisa. Obviously would have enjoyed more time but we only had one day because we were on a cruise.

This cruise was a 12 day Mediterranean cruise on the Carnival Breeze. Fantastic cruise.

Great video, but your panning your camera faster than it can focus and it made it hard to watch at times, because what your trying to show us is blurry. Just slow down a bit, so your camera can keep up.

Could you buy a ticket to Pisa directly from Livorno? How long did it take with the train to Florence and from Florence to Pisa? Sonja from Sweden (we are going on the cruise)
