Bloc Party is one of those rare bands - a perfect mix of style and talent. Equal parts groovy and upbeat while still able to convey a tender melancholy. Matt is one of the most solid drummers around, and understands the role of a good beat to any song. For this reason I consider him to be one of the most valuable drummers in modern rock. Kele's mix of swagger, charisma and raw emotion make him a powerhouse on his own and the band does a great job of complimenting him. LONG LIVE BLOC PARTY!!!

Bloc party is one of those bands that meant a lot to me. I grew up with them, and intimacy was my fav. It was like silent alarm and weekend rolled into one. With signs being one of my all time favourite songs. It will always hold a place in my heart but feels like it’s time stamped, just not the same now!

Malone .j2 the single 'The Love Within' has grown on me a little, but even that doesn't compare to the old Bloc Party one bit. People say that it's normal for the fans to dislike new material at first, but I always enjoyed new albums; some more than others. This new one just doesn't sound like them. It's sad.
