Professional mountain biker Alexis Skarda breaks the record on the 100 mile White Rim Trail in Canyonlands, Utah in just under 7 hours only to be broken just a month later. Facing the challenges of juggling dietary needs, mental focus, and race strategy, she makes a second massive attempt in hopes to break the new record. Amazing ride. Howe did she calculate 15% grade at the end ? The steepest sustained section of Schaefer is ~5km and just under 9%, while the steepest 10km is about 5.5 of the plots from Strava are correct

Ten years ago I clockwise ran white rim in 19 hrs. Mineral bottom to mineral bottom. You be sick woman. I used a Santacruze Bullet, a tank by today’s standards. Truth told the WRT is so pretty I’d like to do it slower. Take a few days. Eat real food. See the place. Loved your video. Nice piece of work.
