Turned 35 this year, so proud to say that my 3boys have their playlists filled with rock, heavy metal and all the music I listened to in my younger years. They say 35 or 40 isn't old....psh I beg to differ. My husband is 45 and he's literally falling apart. What I got to look forward to. 😂

My brother and I are very nerdy when it comes to music videos and film in general... and I can confidently say that "Boiled Frogs" and "This Could Be Anywhere" are some of the best music videos ever. The ideas behind them and the way they were executed are just phenomenal. This shit stands the test of time. Truly the only band ever.

Song hits harder now than when I first heard it at 16. I'm 24 now, still youthful but I'm starting to feel the years slipping by now, my body is a little worse for wear. This can't be all what life is work till you die.

You’re 24 you’re not old enough to have those problems get in the gym start eating right and sleeping on a regular schedule at 24 we were having chicken fights in the middle of a circle pit and getting spartan kicked in the chest every weekend you think you hurt now wait another 10 years 😂

This is probably a dumb question.... But is it "Alex is on fire" or "Alexis on fire"? And I have no idea how I never got into this band... They came out right when I was a little more into this genre.
@foodmarketingtv8 жыл бұрын
If I recall the time I asked this same question, I believe it is "Alexis on fire". The lead singer is Dallas Green and he started City and Colour - absolutely amazing material, albeit a start contrast in genre. Shows how versatile he is as a musician.

Trying to work out the video George - trapped in a dead end job, eventually finds a way out but then ends up back at work Wade- trapped in a prison of his own design and the moment he’s about to free himself he stays there Chris - lost at sea and trying to move closer to the light, but then finds himself moving further and further away Dallas - tries to work out a problem but eventually does, finds the gold watch Jordan - also feels traps then eventually pulls apart his floor then pulls himself out of his own hell.

I wonder if for George's section they picked that building because the facade on the outside looks like bars? I know it's in Toronto, I just forget the name.

George:] A man sits at his desk One year from retirement, And he's up for review Not quite sure what to do. Each passing year The workload grows. [Dallas:] I'm always wishing, I'm always wishing too late For things to go my way It always ends up the same (Count your blessings) I must be missing, I must be missing the point Your signal fades away and all I'm left with is noise (Count your blessings on one hand) So wait up, I'm not sleeping alone again tonight. There's so much to dream about, there must be more to my life [George:] Poor little tin man, still swinging his axe, Even though his joints are clogged with rust. [Wade:] My youth is slipping, my youth is slipping away. Safe in monotony, (so safe), day after day (Count your blessings) My youth is slipping, my youth is slipping away. Cold wind blows off the lake, and I know for sure that it's too late (Count your blessings on one hand) [Dallas:] So wait up, I'm not sleeping alone again tonight There's so much to dream about, there must be more to my life. Can't help but feel betrayed, punch the clock every single day There's no loyalty and no remorse. Youth sold for a pension cheque And it makes him fucking sick He's heating up, he can't say no (Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh) So wait up, I'm not sleeping alone again tonight, There's so much to dream about, there must be more to my life. (So wait up) So wait up I'm not sleeping alone again tonight Between the light and shallow waves is where I'm going to die Wait up for me Wait up for me Wait up for me
