Alexisonfire provided the tunes for my 8th grade and freshman year of high school. Miss this stuff. Wish I never stopped listening to it. The balance of Dallas and George is really unique and captures such a dynamic range of music. Years back when I listened to AOF, I was a immature kid who had some weird emotions... while I've grown up a lot since then (thank God that I did) I still love this music.

After I came home from my deployment I knew my woman had been with another man for a while and these lyrics were the only thing that made sense to me of what I was going through at the time.... Thanks Dallas Green!! Don't look so surprised that I'm home, but just for tonight. With rough hands and sore eyes so don't speak, I am tired. Let's just live through this lie.

Frosty2113 THANK YOU. I hate it when people get on post-hardcore and stuff like thats videos and complain about the screamed vocals, I mean, if you dont like it, dont listen. @poisoncrue2310 жыл бұрын
"Sometimes love isn't about how much someone suits you, but how much you're willing to change to suit them." Yup. That line definitely doesn't bring any meaning to the song. I think the lyrics to the George's parts are just fine. I've never been a fan of screaming, but it suits the song well.

There's this weird radio station that plays everything under the sun with no commercials, Dolly Parton one song, the next could be Run DMC.
