I'm taking Zepbound. What it helps with is "food noise" (that little voice in your head whispering "don't Doritos sound good right now?" when you are not really hungry. It also helps you not feel as hungry as you used to and when you do eat, it helps you feel fuller faster and for longer. But like with WLS, it is a tool, not a magic bullet. You still need to make lifestyle changes.

@@to1620 in my area it’s actually an effort to increase recycling, as you can put as much recycling out as you want for free in city provided recycling bins and the revenue from the bags offsets the cost of processing solid waste. So, for example, my household puts out one town bag a week because it’s more cost effective to recycle as much as possible. I’m sure other areas have the problem you described, but most of the neighboring towns here are rural and you get a free permit to drop at the town dump.

It takes years to lose the weight when you're really big like her. There is a prescription medication for people having rapid weight loss that prevents stones from cholesterol and dissolves ones you have but it takes a year to dissolve existing ones. I've been on a similar medication for 14 months and I'm just down 62lbs. I'm insulin resistant though and it makes weight loss slower. I'm 17lbs away from a healthy BMI and I'm so glad. Lots of people that have been really big for a while are IR and haven't requested that specific test to get diagnosed.

I thought that - I think they are premier protein (she has mentioned them before) But as Mamimi said above - Amber doesn't need to be drinking calories - even 160 cal - she is an over eater and a 330 ml (? - we don't have them here but it looks about that?) a drink isn't going to fill her up at all!!

If she is only eating a few hundred calories a day it may be worth trying to get in extra protein where she can. I’ve had weight loss surgery and they push you to consume protein over any other macro, so you don’t lose muscle with rapid weight loss.

honestly, injections sound & look scarier than they are. i was extremely afraid of needles the first time i had to get a medication regularly injected & only syringes were available. you get used to it after a while, but i was like 14 so i needed my mom to help the first two or three times.

Alex, if you haven't tried the menthol nasal inhalers, they're immediate relief, with the vapors shrinking the swollen veins that cause stuffiness. The equate brand mini size are really cheap, $3. There's another type that's from Benedrex that helps some people more. It doesn't help me more than the menthol ones and the bad smell lingers for hours sometimes. Anyway, it's just a piece of cotton soaked in medicine in a tube, so nothing goes in your nose, just vapors. My grandma had me use it when I slept there as a child and I forgot all about it until recently. Sudafed is great for nasal sinus problems but you have to show your ID at the pharmacy for it.

What sucks about the nasal sprays is that they do contain a steroid most of the time so overuse can cause a dependency and you will have to use it more often to have a clear nose. Eventually, after continued use, you will have a stuffy nose pretty much constantly if you DONT use it. I say this from personal experience, and it’s awful to get away from!

@@kelseymullenix6711 Yeah, that's 1 spray I have heard about. I'm sure some others too. I wasn't talking about a spray though. These are listed as inhalers and it's just the scent of the menthol that shrinks the veins in your nose. They work immediately. These are even safe for kids because no medicine goes into your nose. You do have to use them 2-3x a day if you have a cold though because it's a temporary fix. I've never had much success from sprays in general and I've even tried the 1 with a steroid and Flonase, etc.

Going off her food in this video, I could see someone in the 200s ish range eating this. Your entire lunch was 3 burgers, 2 potato chips (maybe 3?) and a spoonful of dip? Your entire dinner was 2 eggs, ~1 and 1/2 cups of steak, and some cheese? You’re fooling no one. I also think Mamalynn in the pool was very forced “goofball” attitude. Like the same vibe as when ALR thought throwing trash away was “funny” because she slammed the lid and then looked at the camera.

I said this on Zach's video too but I'm taking a similar weight loss jab and if I ate the amount of fat ALR is I would be SO SICK. I really cant understand how shes doing it. Also, I'm taking the opportunity of reduced appetite and cravings to change my eating habits so that when I come off the meds I dont just rebound. I dont see any changes to ALR's diet... What a shame to waste so much money and not take full advantage of it.

When I took ozempic for a hot minute I was super sensitive to it wnd when I ate even 1/4 of a normal meal I would feel sick. Like super super full, almost like after thanksgiving meal full, and I thought I would vomit for hours. It was too much for me!

That being said I have central nervous system sensitivity from other disabilities and was taking it to regulate my blood sugar. I was too sensitive to the starting dose and having symptoms people dont have until the full dose or close to it so Amber is likely not close to that level yet
