Man you are doing it wrong, you have to start on high numbers and work down so you can blend it in , that's why all the other videos are better yours is not blended it goes from one number to the next like you went to a dentist appointment and came out with a haircut 😂😂 you said a lot of you won't have cut your own hair before , looks like that includes you 😂😂😂

Nice! A couple of suggestions if you don't mind: 1. Make your initial bald line lower around the back of your head, so you can space out your guidlines a little bit more. 2. Use #0 open, instead of #1 closed on your second guidline and then #1.5 closed on your third. Your haircut will look even better.

This is the tutorial that I use for my haircut. My wife loves it and so do I. The only thing that I would advise is that I have the half guard and 1.5 guard so I don't move the lever half way. Maybe mentioning that in your videos could help some people achieve some better results

I do cut my side hair like this every 2 weeks since 6 months now. For me and my clippers, it works the best to take out my guidelines with the lever completely open for the 1 & 2 guards. Half way closed would take off too much. The very first guideline I take out with my lever first halfway closed, then 3/4 closed. You need to try different lever levels for your very own clipper but overall, this guide is genius. BIG Thumbs up!

Did this yesterday after getting proper clippers with a lever in the mail. I'm so proud of my cut! I had one attempt before this using cheap clippers that don't have a lever, so I did a longer fade that wasn't bald that time. This time was the first attempting to do a bald fade. Just FYI it took about 2 hours to get a result I was happy with. So make sure you have enough time especially on your first try. Helps a lot to have a self cut mirror (trifold mirror). It's mad scary at first and completely disorienting to cut hair using mirror, but if you take your time, you can do it. One thing that helps is to look away from the mirror sometimes to get your bearings, go where you think you should go with your hands without touching the clippers to your hair, and then certify by looking back in the mirror where your hands are. Hard to explain, but I think it helps train your brain on how to use the mirrors in reverse orientation.

Been cutting my hair on my own since that corona crap started. With no experience whatsoever i found it very useful to start from top to bottom, it leaves hair for mistakes, you can always go shorter. BUT: It definitely takes longer, since you really gotta pay attention to finding the right line.
