I really loved this show. I liked how they didn't dumb down messages for kids and I liked seeing that most of the characters were not one dimensional (i.e. stuck up teen girly girl that literally has no background/reasoning of why she acts the way she does). I also liked that dating was normal and not a big deal because a lot of shows made it seem like if you start dating someone IT'S HUGE OMG! That being said, yes I wanted them to get together. I still do after rewatching the show recently... IT'S OKAY!

Dude same. I didn't know about this show growing up cause I was like, six when it ended, but I completely agree with with you. I never did understand why dating was such a taboo concept in Disney shows especially, like, hand-holding and sipping milkshakes really isn't that controversial.

Lol, I used to think it was just me; I've always like couples that start out arguing and get closer over time... Plus, as an only-child, I actually kind of liked the step-sibling set-up (I also liked the manga Marmelaide Boy). On the other hand, there was no excuse for that episode where they get locked in the bathroom together. Where they start squirting each other with soap and foam? Even as a kid, I was like, Wait, are they actually going there?

I’m pretty sure Disney did their best to bury this show after it ended. Years ago, I’d try to look it up to show people and could never find it. To this day, when I ask people if they’ve seen it, everyone says they’ve never heard of it at all. (Which I guess could also be because it only seemed to come on TV at like 2AM)

Watching things back now is so much different now that I'm old enough to really understand a lot of it because jokes and scenes in these shows used to go over my head a lot as a kid. There are so many that I watch again and go, "Oooooh! That makes so much more sense now!" and ones that make me go, "Oh. Well, that's completely . . . different than what I remember."

the reason this show has a bit of a different vibe as the rest of disney channel stuff is cause it was produced by a canadian network, and disney bought the rights to broadcast it (if you didn’t wait til end to hear alex say this)
