After Ricky said that he was never gonna let her go again last season, he let her go so easily this season. In fact, I think the only reason they had them break up was to write her off the show since Olivia Rodrigo has become a huge pop star, and they can no longer afford her on a teen tv show. The actors and actresses have to stand in one position, repeat actions an absurd amount of times, etc. It’s boring, painful, and stressful, but somehow we theater kids find a way to love it. I am still in episode six, but so far I really like how they portray Ricky's character. At first, he seems to be the regular tropey character; a boy with comitment issue. But over time he develops and grows. He has his own probleme and weaknesses but he's willing to try to make things better. So excited that they renewed this for the third season too!
