An outstanding cover from Angelina. The chills come from her voice, her tone, her vocal fry, the breathiness, but of course at the same time the lyrics. It might be a Christian song, but that doesn't matter, as well can all interpret it in our own way, a normal relationship, parent-child, partner, or even God (I am not religious). Admittedly, the lyrics suit everyone, and how Angelina sings them they cause chills for sure. She gets very deep into your heart and brain....a storyteller with a "god-given" voice :-)

I agree Alex. It seems no matter what song she covers from any well known artist, She always changes a few woeds, Rearranges yhe music a little, Adds a different flavor to it to improve it. Before singers release a song they should have Angelina Tweek it a little to improve so when its hits the market its the best it can be. She has a very unique ear for music. One of a kind.

You has to remember she was singing since she was 6 years. She find the way to manipulate all her vocals instruments to sound mature, to go low and to have 1,000 of voices. If you pay attention to her early performances she will notice how she place her mouth, how she moves her hands, and how she use her entire body

"What is my favorite Angelina Jordan performance?" The last song of hers that I listened to, of course!" She performed this as her last song during her online pay for view Christmas concert of 2021. This song was written by gospel singer Lauren Daigle. That concert was special as it contained interviews with several accompanying great jazz musicians, as well as Angelina, Rob Christie narrated it and played accompaniments on the guitar, not the piano as he usually had in the past. She has been the finest female vocalist to ever live since age 10. There has never been another with the combination of talents of this young lady. The barefoot Princess of a thousand voices, she is a gift to us all. Her recent release of her EP album "Old Enough" shows what a great lyricist she is as well. Remember she is multi-genre capable when looking at her catalog of accomplishments. In a recent interview she stated that she has written about 100 songs. We have much Angelina to look forward too for sure!

For those of us who paid the subscription to Angelina's Christmas 2021 online concert, this was the highlight of the show. Republic allowed subscribers to replay the concert for a few weeks after the performance, and I listened to this song many many times.
